"Attention!!" Cried the Commander as the Fly Army lined up. "YES SIR." The soldiers chorused.

The Commander said, "We have trained hard, we have gone through multiple obstacle courses. Are. You. Ready?"

                      "YES SIR." the soldiers yelled.

"Then let's get out there! Alpha Team! Dining table! Beta Squad, Kitchen! Charlie Delta bedroom and garden let's go go go!!!"

The flies shot out one by one. They were prepared for this. And they didn't need to worry about most dangers, as time was slowed down for them. So to others, it was as if the flies had super speed.

But alas however, it was not always victorious. Any time they went out, there was always a great loss in numbers. Not even their enhanced speed and analysing skills could help them against the Great Flattener.

The Great Flattener was among the many dangerous weapons used by what the flies called the Sausage People. If a Sausage Person is highly skilled enough, it can take down 5 fly soldiers with one hit of the Great Flattener.

The Commander watched as yet another batch of young soldiers were killed by the Great Flattener at the Dining Table. Distraught, he flew to the bedroom. Luckily, the Beta Squad was small, and there was no food to be found in the bedrooms, so they left to join the Garden.

This was when they struck gold. "Commander, there is a sweet scent coming from that tiny house." said one of the soldiers. "Hm. Let us go scout the place."

"Commander, we have sent many scouts, but none have come back. We can see them all through the tiny house though. It appears they are trying to get out." another soldier said. The Commander said, "Then we must help them.".

But as the group flew into the tiny house, the light darkened. They were unable to escape this time. More and more flies grew tired of flying and dropped dead into the golden liquid that made the sweet scent.

The flies outside looked helplessly at the trapped soldiers, and eventually none were left.
