Mace's POV

"Guys classes are cancelled"I said to the other guys

"I got the message too"Richardo said sitting on the couch"There's a party for we freshman"he added

"Great, we should go have some fun after a long boring day like this"Mace said feeling exhausted

"Guys,lunch is ready" Lance said coming from the kitchen

We all rushed to the dinning table to have our lunch

"I wonder how college life is gonna turn out" Lance said "yeah, highschool was a disaster" Thomas added taking a bite of his food

"Don't bring back the bad memories Lance,pass the ketchup"Jace said with a changed of expression

"Come on guys,college life is gonna be one of the most memorable years of our life"I said trying to lighten up the mood

"Yeah,all we just have to do is to let go of the past"Richardo said with a smile

"Easier said than done Rico"Lance said to Rico with a blank expression "come on just think about the bright side like more girls,more-"

"Rico!" Lance exclaimed"what?"Rico answered with a smirked

"Yeah Rico is actually right,more beautiful girls" Jace threw his head back dramatically

"They'll never change will they?"I asked facing Thomas"definitely not"he replied

"Enough of the girls talk we have a party to attend"I said

"Thomas do the dishes"Jace ordered"wait,why does it have to be me"Thomas asked stretching both his arm

"Cause you're the only one whose still eating...duh"lance answered as he shrugged as Thomas rolled his eyes

Time skips to the party

Still mace's POV
Murmuring filled the air as we stpped in the party, most people's attention were drawn to us we weren't suprised it happens most of the times especially when Rico and jace with us Rico is always with is play boyish act always smiling, smirking and waving at any girls he sees Jace is the other way round,he is always walking with his cold expression all over his face and can also be a little play boyish as rico sometimes.

"Hmm saucy"Rico said almost whispering"I'm going to have a drink"Lance said as he walked towards the counter

Some girls were walking over to us, so I separated from the rest of the boys

I was just roaming around the party until a brunette girl around my age walked up to me she was wearing a tight fitting gown which was above her thigh
"Hey handsome,wanna dance"she said seductively putting her hands on my chest, I was not really in the mood to have a dance so I just walked away from me removing her hands from my chest

After few seconds of roaming around the party I saw a girl sitting alone on a table she was looking at a girl dancing as everyone cheered, to be honest her dance moves were nice, I walked towards her I sat on a empty chair near her table,she was so busy watching the girl dance that she didn't notice me.

"Do you know her?"I asked as she faced me

"Yes,she's my best friend,any problem?"she replied turning her head to face me,I couldn't take my eyes of her I was so stunned if she could be described in just one word it would be "alluring"

"No,just impressed be her dance moves"I said not taking my eyes off her as she nod,she looked at me confused"Is there anything one my face"she asked curiously as she touched her face

"Yeah"I answered with a smile "what?" She asked looking a bit worried which was cute

"beauty" I answered,she smiled shyly"I mean you are so beautiful"i said with a smile"Thank you,but that pick up line died a long time ago"she replied with a smile and I just shrugged

"Hey, I'm mace..mace coronnel"I let out my hand for a shake"Lizzy Greene"she said as she shook my hand

"Are you a freshman too?"I asked her "yeah"she replied

We talked about some random stuffs her smiles were mesmerizing ,it was getting late so she decided to leave

Lizzy's POV

I've been talking to this mace guy for some hours now and he looks so nice and funny,his jokes are so funny I can't stop laughing throughout the conversation,I was in a middle of a conversation with mace until my phone went off

"Excuse me"I said as I picked up my phone to check my messages it was from our group chat

I was feeling so tired so I decided to go back to the apartment

"Sorry I have to go"I said as he looked up at me"ok,but it's so late, it'll stupid of me to let you go out there all alone, I'll walk you"he requested "don't worry I'll manage, it's just few blocks away" I denied his request but he insisted so I gave in

We were having a conversation on our way after some minutes we got to my apartment

"It's here"I said pointing to the door"ohh"he replied as he deeped his two hands in his pocket"Thanks for today"I thanked him giving him a smile"you're welcome"he said with a wide smile

"it's nice Meeting you"I said with a smile"yeah,I hope we can meet more often"he said as I nodded"bye"he waved at me with a smile"bye"I waved back at him as he turned to leave and I entered the apartment
