The two soldiers looked up from Levi and the pillow to find a gruesome face. Burns, deep wrinkles, scars, the works. Not to mention a scar from what looked like a laceration to his throat. 'Perhaps that's why his voice sounds like that' the dynamic duo thought in unison. What was most off putting about him was his missing hand. His arm cut off at the wrist, leaving a metal disk and a metal ring attached to it. The ring was to hold multiple attachments, from a hook all the way to a fork. That explained the elongated handles on the surgical tools. The doctor examined where he would be performing surgery, after parting Shorty's hair in a specific place, he examined his state once more before turning and exiting. Not Hanji nor Erwin dared to ask what he was doing or where he was going, they were both still in shock from the disturbing sight known as the medical professional's profile. When the "surgeon" returned, it was clear that something was different. Both Erwin and Hanji gulped down a non-existent liquid at this sight. What they saw: a blood-and rust-stained, bladed, attachment. It was the "doctor's" scalpel.
