Reborn As Future Trunks

part 33:the future and wishes

The time machine lands in the future as trunks and Goku hop out Goku looks around at the destruction his eyes widen before his his fist clench as trunks puts the time machine back into its capsule

Goku:trunks

Trunks looks at Goku and notices that both of his fists are dripping blood as he looks at the destruction

Goku:is chi chi still alive

Trunks:from what I know yes why don't you search for her energy

Goku does so calming down a bit

Goku:alright come with me trunks we're getting a new guardian

Meanwhile

Bulma looks out her window she had just gotten home after telling everyone that her son stopped the androids trunks will probably complain but she had to say something people were freaking out luckily they believed her and it's not a lie currently she's taking a break from reprograming the androids getting something to drink but to her shock she sees trunks and.. GOKU

Bulma gets up and runs outside towards them but they both disappear before she can reach them

Bulma:that was real... That must have been the Goku from the past but Goku where are you taking trunks

Trunks and Goku land on king Kai's planet shocking everyone there

Future Goku:IS THAT ME!?

Gohan:TRUNKS

Goku:hi bye

Then they both disappear

Krillin:what just happened

Meanwhile

Goku and trunks land on planet namek

Goku:cool we're here

Trunks so this is namek huh

Goku:oh yeah that's right this is your first time on another planet

Namekian:wait isn't that Goku it's you

Goku:hey so you guys remember me

Namekian:of course you are the hero who defeated freeza tell us what do you need

Goku:well it's a long story but I was hoping you guys would help us out we need a new guardian for earth we really need to fix the damage done but without dragon balls we can't and even if we brought our old guardian back to life and we can't cause he's been dead for longer then a year then we couldn't bring anyone else back who has been dead for more then a year

Shiki:the guy Goku talking to he's the elder who took over after guru passed right

Trunks:yep

Hyōrinmaru:you remember that but couldn't remember his name

Trunks & shiki:hn

Namekian:I see well our dragon balls have been modified so you can bring your friends back after freeza I thought to do a little improving on them... And I think I know just the person if you're still interested in a new guardian dende come here please

Goku:hey cool wait... If we bring them all back does earth need a new guardian what do you think trunks

Trunks:I think we should we don't know if piccolo and kami fused in the after life I think we should operate under the assumption that they did

Goku:sure so about those dragon balls

Small time skip

Porunga has been summoned as trunks takes a step back

Trunks:it's one thing seeing it in the show or manga... BUT DAMN IS HE BIG

Shiki:it's like they gave the dragon steroids

Hyōrinmaru:...... Meh

Goku:hey trunks i think you should do the wishing it is your timeline right and keep in mind you get three wishes

Trunks:oh.. Uh sure for the first wish could you have porunga bring all the good people back to life who died at the hands of the androids and... My father to and this may seem strange but could you see if he can bring Goku back as well

The namekianelder raises a eyebrow at this but decides to leave it be

Namekianelder:I do not see why you specified your father but it is not my place to pry and as for Goku he seems alive to me but very well

He then translates the wish as porunga's eyes glow red as he does the wish

Porunga:mmmm I cannot bring the one known as Goku back to life

The elder namekian looks at Goku strangely searching for a sign that he may be dead

Goku:so funny story I'm actually from the past he means he can't bring this timelines me back

Elder namekian:I see well I'll pretend like I don't know anything

Goku:what... What do you mean

Elder namekian:do not worry about now your second wish my boy

Trunks:could you bring the senzu bean plant back to life

The elder translates the wish as porunga does so

Now comes the third wish

Trunks:damn it... What to wish for

Porunga stares down at trunks

Trunks:screw it.... I better get a thank you for this

Trunks looks at the elder

Trunks:could you maybe ask porunga to return my mother's youthful features to her

The elder looks at trunks before laughing and translating the wish

Meanwhile on earth bulma feels strange for a moment rushing into the bathroom she looks into a mirror and begins laughing and freaking out

As a strange noise is heard outside

Bulma:eh what's that

Meanwhile

Trunks:thank you very much

Elder namekian:do not worry about it we are happy to help those who helped us in our time of need

Goku:great well bye

Goku,Trunks and Dende disappear

Time skip back to earth

Trunks and the other two have returned to earth outside capsule Corp

Bulma:TRUNKS GOOD HELP ME WITH YOUR FATHER

Vegeta:like hell he'll go against me now move I'm going to kill them

Trunks:FATHER STOP

Vegeta:why should I

Trunks:because it's no longer your choice what happens to them

Vegeta:what

Trunks:the winner of the fight decides what happens I decided on giving them a second chance it's happening just like what they decided when they fought you

Vegeta looks at trunks as the two stare each other down

Goku:hey Dende how about I show you to the lookout

Dende:oh sure

The two leave leaving father and son to possibly come to blows
