that i still miss
i ask myself
all the fucking time
"what went so wrong?"
yet i can't help but think about
everything that could've gone right
if that one
god damn night
were to simply
cease from existence
if i hadn't been so selfish
to leave this world smiling
leaving everyone
behind me
crying
the same way
that i do
as i walk away
from you.
