I watched Chester's movement kung magugulat ba siya or what kapag nakita niya si Tito Fred. So far, he was just... normal. Or baka hindi naman kasi talaga siya magugulat dahil alam niya naman na sabay kami sa flight?

And why was I overanalyzing this again? I just told myself na give up na ako, gosh!

"Okay ka lang?" Chester asked nung huminto siya dahil napansin niya na napahinto ako.

I looked. "Yup," I replied with a smile.

We continued walking. Pagdating namin sa loob, I was just following Chester kung saan siya mauupo. I really thought na doon kami sa kabilang dulo mauupo since marami namang vacant space, but I was actually pleasantly surprised nung maupo kami malapit sa pwesto nila Chase.

I watched as Chester nodded at Chase.

And then he looked at Tito Fred.

"Thank you," Chester told Tito Fred. Tumango lang siya kay Chester. Naupo na kami. What... was that?

Tito Fred continued to work on his laptop. Si Chester naman ay ayaw atang magpatalo at naglabas din ng iPad niya para magbasa. I, on the other hand, was bored out of my mind but it felt a little weird na makipagkwentuhan kay Chester when Tito Fred's just right in front of us.

Instead, I stood up and walked to get myself a bottle of water.

"Congrats again," sabi ni Chase.

"Thank you!" I replied.

We talked for a while. I thought pareho kaming ayaw pa bumalik doon kasi medyo weird iyong atmosphere. It's like it'd be so awkward if magsalita ka kaya pareho kami ni Chase na nandito lang sa harap ng ref for a few minutes. We just talked about work. I asked him about his plans. So far, siya na iyong pinakamaayos kausap sa mga Viste. If hindi niya lang kamukha iyong mga kapatid niya, I'd think na napalit sa ospital si Chase because he's different from his siblings.

"Sa tingin mo magbabati pa?" Chase asked.

I shrugged. "I honestly don't know," I replied. "I mean, it'd be nice if they do, but really not expecting anything at this point."

Chase just nodded and didn't say anything but it was painfully obvious na gusto niyang magkaayos si Tito Fred and si Chester. It must be so weird for him because he lives with his dad, still, tapos as far as I was concerned, he's in constant communication naman with his siblings. He's caught dead in the middle.

The entire time na nasa lounge kami, nagwork lang iyong dalawa. I got so bored kaya nagbasa na lang din ako ng medical journal like Chester. At the very least, natuto pa ako.

When boarding time came, nasa kanya-kanyang pwesto na kami. Chester was on the aisle kasi baka may dumaan daw tapos mabunggo ako. Tapos sa other side of the aisle, nandon naman si Tito Fred. Hindi ko alam if sinadya ba 'to ni Chase or what.

"I'll sleep muna," I told Chester. "Don't wake me up for food," I added because I was at the point of my life na mas importante na sa akin iyong pagtulog.

I quickly fell asleep because I was so tired and just because sleeping's fun! When I opened my eyes, I didn't know what time it was already since naka-close na iyong lights. Tumingin ako kay Chester to call his name, but I immediately stopped myself when I saw him holding a drink. And I was about to ask him if he was drinking nang makita ko na umiinom din si Tito Fred.

Oh... so they're drinking.

Nagusap kaya sila while I was asleep?

For a while, hindi ko alam if magpapanggap ba ako na tulog or if I'd make it known na na gising ako since nagugutom na ako. And I was about to call Chester's name to ask him to call the flight attendant to bring me food nang marinig ko na magsalita si Tito Fred.
