Boredom

What an empty feeling,

So shallow and cold,

A destructive force,

Of a lazy kind.

It eats you from the inside,

Slowly chipping away at your sanity,

You can feel your hands shaking,

Now your heart is racing.

"What do I do?" you say,

Your smile twisted and deformed,

Your mind now numb and gone,

Finally you realise that you have lost it all.
