My Love, I Will Come Stalk You Again

chapter 2

the police arrived at alice's house. they found the bodies of the woman and her partner. one of the police officers was questioning alice. after they were done, some of them stayed to watch over alice in case Kei comes back. alice went back to her room and turned on the tv. she flipped through the channels then turned it off. alice couldnt enjoy her day when Kei was out there watching her every move. she lied down on her bed and stared at the cieling. she felt tired just thinking about Kei. she wanted all of this to end. why did he choose her over all the other girls in the world. there were better looking girls and smarter too. after alice was finished with her thoughts, she fell asleep.

the next morning a loud crash woke alice up. she got up and walked outside to see what happened. the police left already while she was asleep so it was empty in the living room. as she opened the door a chair flew toward her direction and crashed into the wall. she fell down to the floor. she looked around frantically to see who threw the chair but there was no one in sight. she closed the door quickly and ran to the bathroom. she sat against the door and hugged her knees. then the doorbell rang. alice still sat there on the floor. there was a crash... at the door. someone was breaking into alice's house. they walked around finding stuff to take. they stopped in front of the bathroom. alice froze then moved slowly to the tub. the person outside reached for the door knob until the police came. the person dropped everything and dashed for the backdoor. one police officer ran after them and tackled them to the floor. another police officer called out alice's name. alice opened the bathroom door a little. "in here.." she said quietly. the police officer walked up to her. "alice, we're going to need you to come down to the station with us to answer some questions about the man who is stalking you." alice hesitated, thinking about what happened to the two polices officers that Kei killed. she slowly came out of the bathroom and followed the police officer to the car. as the police officer opened the door, a delivery man came up to them with a package. "who's it from?" asked the police officer suspecting it. "i'm guessing it's from the woman who told me to send. she insisted that it be delivered today." alice signed for it and took the package as the delivery man left. alice looked all over the box but she didn't see a return address. "do you think it's from your stalker?" asked the police officer. alice opened the package to check. she took out all the tissue paper that covered what was hidden inside. then she suddenly dropped the box and ran to the police car. the police man took the box and looked inside. there a decapitated head. who it belonged to was unknown. the police man carried the box to the car and put it in the trunk. alice sat in the back awaiting any surprises Kei had to give during the car ride.

as they arrived at the station, alice sighed, relieved that nothing bad happened. "i have to take this package to the lab. when you get inside, there'll be a man to escort you to the room. just wait there until i get back." the policeman ran to the lab with the package. alice walked toward the doors. she felt like someone was watching her. she looked around then ran inside. a somewhat young man saw alice and walked toward her. "are you alice?" alice nodded. "i'm agent martin. i'm with the FBI. i believe detective kyles drove you here." 'so that policeman was detective kyles...' alice thought to herself. "detective martin and i will be asking you some questions. if you remember anything let us know. it might help us catch the man who's stalking," agent martin finished. alice followed him to the room. then she had a random thought about dogs. maybe she wanted to get a dog. or a puppy. as they reached the room, some people were running outside. agent martin stopped one of the guys running and asked what happened. "detective kyles was shot," said the guy. alice's eyes widened. she was about to run outside but agent martin stopped her and told her to stay inside. he ran outside with the crowd. alice went in the room and sat down. she started to get a headache so she rested her head on the table. she almost fell asleep until a light knock woke her. she looked to see who it was. there was no one but a small box had appeared in the hallway. she got up, stopped for a moment, then walked over to get it. she kneeled down and opened it. there was a finger with a ring on it and a little paper that said 'will you marry me?' alice was about to puke but held it back and swallowed. she closed the box and put it back down. agent martin came back and saw alice. "what're you doing outside?" he asked. alice gave him the box and walked back in the room. agent martin opened the box then closed it. "come with me. we're going to the lab together." alice sighed. they went outside... as alice was walking, she felt someone was watching her again. she looked around and saw a guy. she thought it was a normal pedestrian until she remembered kei's face. the guy was kei watching alice from afar but when she blinked he was gone. "what's wrong alice?" asked agent martin. "uh..." alice rubbed her eyes. she was probably imagining things. "... nothing." she walked quickly to catch up with agent martin. then a loud gunshot was fired. alice fell to the floor. "what was that?" alice asked. there was no answer. she looked over at agent martin. he was shot in the head and died in a second. two detectices ran over to them and then there was another gunshot. alice blinked a few times. the two detectives weren't hurt. "ma'am are you ok?" asked one detective. alice couldn't hear them. then she looked down and saw blood pouring out of her stomach.
