𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 by the water fountain as they explained their situation.

"The Mind Flayer, it built this monster in Hawkins, to stop El, to kill her and pave a way into our world." Mike explained.

"And it almost did. That was just one tiny piece of it." Nancy nodded.

"How big is this thing?" Hopper asked.

"It's big. Thirty feet, at least." Jonathan responded.

"Yeah. It sorta destroyed your cabin. Sorry." Lucas apologized.

"Okay, so, just to be clear, this...this big fleshy spider thing that hurt El, it's some kind of gigantic weapon?" Steve asked.

"Yes."

"But instead of, like, screws and metal, the Mind Flayer made its weapon...with melted people." Steve continued.

"Yes, exactly." Nancy nodded.

"Yeah okay. I'm just making sure." He nodded.

"Are we sure this thing is still out there, still alive?" Joyce asked.

"El beat the shit out of it, but yeah it's still alive." Max responded.

"But if we close the gate again-"

"We cut the brain off from the body."

"And kill it." Baby nodded.

"Theoretically." Jack added.

There was silence as the man in a tank top, Murray. (Baby had finally learned his name) came yelling over.

"Yoo-hoo!" He yelled waving papers in the air. "Yoo-hoo!"

"Okay, this is what Alexi called the hub." Murray pointed on the paper. "Now, the hub takes us to the vault room."

"Okay, where's the gate?" Hopper asked.

"Right here. I don't know the scale on this, but I think it's fairly close to the vault room, maybe fifty feet or so." Murray said.

"More like five hundred." Erica stepped in. "What you're just gonna waltz in there like is commie Disneyland or something?"

"I'm sorry, who are you?"
