I make your skin want to crawl,
And the hair on your neck stand on its end.
I will send chills down your spine even on the hottest of nights,
Send your mind in a tail spin.
I will have you seeing shadows of things that aren't there,
And having you weeping in silent fear.
Have you afraid to move from the spot that you're in,
And have you jumping at every noise that you hear.
Have you shivering under a blanket in a cold sweat,
Holding your breath because you're too scared to breathe.
Keep you up until the brightness of daylight,
Have you wishing for the courage just to leave.
For I am the things that go bump in the night,
And my presence will fill you with dread.
I can take you with one swift move of my knife,
And turn the living into the dead.
