This is not a poem
This is not a poem, this is a scream
This is a cry of rage from everyone you've ever hurt
This is for you to read, and for you to say
From everyone, to everyone
Even and especially themselves
Who have you hurt?
This is from them
This is their hate, this is your insensitivity thrown back in your face
Who has hurt you?
This is your rage, your tears
This is you getting justice for every injustice you've ever been served
This is everyone you've ever made fun of
Telling you how you changed them
Tearing your heart out with your own actions
This is everyone that's ever made fun of you
This is you staring into their eyes
And telling them they're monsters
These are your slow, deliberate words
This is you ripping down everything they are
Until they cant touch you anymore
This is turning on yourself
Forcing yourself to believe, painfully
That you are you and that is all
And you cant hate yourself anymore
This is strength and this is weakness
Its a beginning and an end
This is violent and perfect
Free and restrained
This is triumph.
