"what?" hangman asked confused from what i said. i pointed at rooster "oh"
"been awhile" i said and he nodded in agreement "cmon let's go" we both stood up and made our way back to our friends
"bradshaw i live and breathe" hangman started once we were near them again, making me roll my eyes
of course he gonna start this. again.
rooster looked behind him and squinted his eyes at hangman "hangman you look good" he smirked
knowing hangman he'll probably say something snotty
"well rooster, i am good" hangman paused for a split second "i am very good"
rooster then looked at me and looked shocked making me laugh "woah sav is that you?"
"hmm maybe, maybe not" i walked up to him and gave him a hug and after we separated i said "you miss me rooster?" i looked up at him
he shrugged before responding "you have no idea ace" he rolled his eyes with a smirk
we both laugh and we were interrupted by payback "does anybody know what the special detachment is about?"
"a missions a mission. i wanna know who'll be team leader, and which one of you has what it takes to follow me" say hangman and we all groan at him
"the only place you'll lead anyone is an early grave" rooster was quick to jump in
"damn right" i followed
hangman stepped up, being the 'big bad wolf' "anyone who follows you will run out of fuel, that's just you man. your waiting for the right moment that just never comes"
rooster only scoffed at his words and shrugged, didn't make a big deal about it.
"everyone here is the best there is, who the hell are they gonna get to teach us?" phoenix wondered with a smirk
after a little bit things settled down and i stood with phoenix
"he is such a dick sometimes" i say to phoenix and she nodded, agreeing with me that hangman is annoying
i looked behind me seeing hangman and coyote messing with an old guy because of the bell that penny has, i looked near by them and saw rooster getting ready to play the piano
i patted phoenix's shoulder and gestured her to follow me to where rooster was , he started playing the piano once i sat down by him and he smiled at me
our shoulders kept bumping as he played and he finally got to the words of the song
"you shake my nerves and you rattle my brain" rooster looked at me "too much love drives a man insane. you broke my will, but what a thrill"
"GOODNESS GRACIOUS, GREAT BALLS OF FIRE" everyone in the bar yelled out

"hey sav" i turned my head and saw rooster running up to me "just wanted to say bye"
i laughed and smiled at him "i'll see you tomorrow bradley"
"yeah i know" he said and walked with me to my car "so how have you been?"
"i've been good, how about yourself?" i asked him and he gave me a thumbs up
"good" he smirked at me "are you excited to go back to top gun?"
i nodded and opened my drivers door "extremely but also extremely nervous"
he then nodded "yeah me too" he sighed "well i'll see you tomorrow"
i have him a smile and sat down in the seat of my white keep wrangler "you will" he started to walk away but i called out his name "drive safe" i told him
he gave me a wide smile "you too ace" he blowed me a kiss and winked at me
