We start this chapter right where we left off with Tex walking off leaving a confused Shaggy, a worried Y/n and terrified Scooby
Shaggy snaps out of his confusion as he gains a look of terror and starts talking out loud
Shaggy: Who? What? Aah! Dead Man's Peak. Dead Man's Trail. Dead Man's Curve. *Pause* Did you say Dead Man's Avenue?
Faith: Yeah, it sort of merges with the curve.
Y/n(thoughts): Safest place on the planet my backside
Shaggy drops to his knees in the realisation
Shaggy: What have I done?!
As Shaggy continues to whimper in despair Y/n puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder as we cut to outside the mine with Velma and Marcie talking
Marcie: So...
Velma: Yeah So...
Marcie: Uh, so--
Velma: Yeah
Marcie: Anyway, uh, I was maybe wondering if you'd wanna, like, I don't know, uh... go have dinner with me sometime... it doesn't have to be now it can be some oth-
Velma puts a finger up to Marcie lips
Velma: Yes Marcie I would love too
Not too far from them watching is Fred and Daphne.
Fred: On our own for the clue searching then.
Daphne: It'll be like a date
??: with a 3rd weal
Daphne and Fred look over to see Antony off to the side and a very jealous Winsor staring daggers at Marcie and Velma
Daphne: oh sorry Antony
Antony: Its cool I was thinking of looking around the mines by myself some more anyways you two have fun
Antony then wanders off back to the mines straight past Velma and Marcie as Winsor jumps up form his spot to try and stop him
Winsor: Did I mention how bad the snakes could be they almo-
Daphne and Fred look to each other as Daphne just shrugs and the two wonder off
Not to long later we find Fred looking through a piece of glass that magnifies the strange trail as Fred goes to say something a hand goes over his mouth reviled to be Daphne pointing of to the side. Fred nods as the two sneak over to see
