Forgotten

Chapter 13

"WHAT?" Rubber yelled. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE YOUR DAUGHTER?"

"She's from before the steamers..." Scissors muttered. "Me and Tape forgot about her after we were revived."

"Is she your biological daughter or did you adopt her?" Jean-Pierre asked.

"She's our biological daughter..."

"Ok you two have a lot of explaining to do," the Origami Craftsman said.

"We know..."

Olivia spoke up. "I can take Shangri to mine and Olly's room while you sort this stuff out."

"Sure, Livi go ahead." the Craftsman said.

"Though I'm staying." Olly muttered.

"Fine." Olivia said.

Shangri followed Olivia to a different room. It had light gray walls, it had two beds, one on each side. A side desk in the middle of the two beds. And a lot of things made out of paper.

"So your Scissors' and Tape child right?" Olivia asked her.

"I think that's their name."

"Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Olivia."

"I thought your name was Livi."

"It's just a nickname."

"Well it's nice to meet you too."

"So how was it.. Back in the real world."

"Is that what it's called?"

"Yeah.. so what was it like? I've only been in this dimension."

"Well... I lived with my adopted mom and sister and brother... it was fine I guess I've only been with my real parents for an hour and I already like it a whole lot better."

"Oh... I'm sorry...."

"Don't be."

They were silent for a few more minutes.

"So what's up with the angel wings?" Shangri asked. "Is it cosplay?"

"Um..." she was hesitant. "No... they're real. I died 8 years ago"

Shangri didn't know what to say. "Then why-"

"Why do you see me?" she asked. "Well... it's complicated. I don't really like to talk about it much... but I think I can tell you."

"So.." the Craftsmen started. "Mind explaining why you just showed up with someone we've never met before who turns out to be your daughter?"

Tape sighed. "We forgot about her... once we lost our memoirs. She was born before Olly's plan was set into motion.... You know how Olly brought us to life 6 years before his plan."

"So is she like you two?" Olly asked.

"In what way."

He paused. "Personality wise"

"Well I think she's more like me." Tape said. "She's more clam and isn't like Scis wit da murder, murder, murder, stuff. But she is good at sword fighting from what I've heard"

"Well at least she isn't like Scissors in the way." Jean muttered.

"Yeah.." Hole Punch agreed. "But is she a stationery item like the rest of us... I mean of course she is but I mean like does she have anything that shows it."

"She has my blades and Tape's dispensers." Scissors said.

"Also what are we going to do with her?" Rubber asked.

"Me and Tape are going to take care of her," Scissors said.

"I thought you hated kids." Hole Punch said. Half as a joke.

"Didn't you nearly kill one?" Rubber asked.

Handaconda spoke for her. "She wanted to get revenge on Mario for making her give up Shangri... because Tape died.... So she killed that kid because Tape had told her that Bowser was with Mario and that was his kid."

"Oh... so it was like you were upset about leaving Shangri." Hole Punch said.

".... it's exactly like that...."

"I know!"

"So..." Tape started. "We're sorry dat we didn't tell youse sooner."

"I'm not," Scissors pointed out.

"Of course..." Tape muttered.

"I just can't believe you have a child." Rubber muttered.

"Neither could we." Tape and Scissors said.

"Then what about her adopted parents?" the Craftsman asked.

"dey kicked her out." Tae muttered

"So she has nowhere else to go..."

"Yeah..."

He smiled at Scissors and Tape. "I think we have a spare room somewhere..."

"So she can stay?" Scissors asked, she wasn't sure if she heard him right.

"She's your daughter." the Craftsmen said. "If you want to take care of her then you'll be welcome too."

"Thank you..."
