chapter 15

A/N: hi again ☺️ this is late, idk why but i just couldn't finish this for so long 😩 i felt really bad for not updating so this was really rushed and kinda bad! sorry

sunhae opened the door, letting suhyeok out to hit any zombies in our way, with hari behind to shoot arrows at them

my heart was racing as everyone ran out with everything close to us

they started turning it around as everyone got in the middle, with suhyeok kicking any zombies away

he quickly tied them together, but even with the weight of everyone, the zombies outside were too strong, it wouldn't budge

even as we pushed harder, it barely did anything, i could already feel my body bruising from the intensity of my pushes

i stopped and let cheolsoo take over my place, instead i started hitting the zombies outside, the others following

it was exhausting, pushing the zombies away, and trying to push at the same time, i stopped and scanned my eyes around to find joonyeong, where he was besides mijin, a zombie had taken ahold of her and he was about to help, but i ran towards him and threw a ball that had fallen out of the cage at it

it fell to the ground, letting go of mijin, before it could latch onto joonyeong and bite him

"that was way too close" i said to myself,sighing i went back to pushing, putting all my strength into it

it felt like forever, as we pushed and pushed, i could feel my head start to bleed again, in the middle of my pushes, i had accidentally hit my head multiple times, but with the adrenaline i didn't feel any pain

then we finally started moving, closer and closer to the door, and finally we made it, suhyeok helped untie the strings and opened it, pushing a zombie away while the others helped moved it so only the door was visible

onjo and suhyeok threw themselves at the door, it was locked, none of us were powerful enough to break it down

all of us tried to hold down the box-cage things around us, as it was easier for the zombies to push it without it tied in a circle

after what seemed like forever of onjo hitting her body against the door,as she went to do it again, it suddenly opened

her dad stood outside the door, she was immediately engulfed into a hug as everyone ran outside and slammed the doors shut

cheongsan was next to be hugged by her dad

"are you kids okay? is anyone injured?" he said and and onjo pointed to me

"her head was bleeding! i think its worsened by now" her dad sent her a knowing look, as if he knew her feelings for me

"im fine though! it hurts like, alot,but ill manage" i said, yeah it felt like i was about to die, but i won't allow it! imagine dying from a head injury in a zombie apocalypse?  most lame way to go out

he didn't seem convinced (and neither did anybody else) but he let go of the topic

"are you guys all fine with running?" everyone nodded although hyoryung was hesitant to agree

"someone strong should hold y/n on their back" sunhae suggested "it could worsen her condition, running i mean"

"i agree, we don't want her condition to get worse" soju said "who's up for it?" nayeon quickly raised her hand before anyone else

"are you sure nayeon?" sunhae said "I don't mean this in a mean way but you're kind of...tiny" nayeon pouted "i never get to do anything with her!"

"okay okay, sorry" sunhae said "you can help her, and someone else should try helping too, just incase" nayeon agreed, happy to be close with me

"if you go through the tennis court and pass the construction site you can reach the mountains, once you get t the mountains you can go to yangdong-" soju was interrupted by the sound of growling from behind us

he quickly ran to the zombie and tripped it, breaking it's leg and telling us to run

nayeon helped me onto her back, eunji and gyeongsu behind us, to keep us (more like me) safe

running towards the tennis court was easy, probably cause i didn't have to do anything

but nayeon slipped and i fell... straight onto the sandy ground,oh well,i was already dirty...whats a little more

nayeon got up and grabbed my hand in a tight grip, we were about to run again when everyone noticed the zombies crowding around the outside, right at out exit

"shit! are we trapped again?!" gyeongsu said

"what do we do?!" wujin panicked, and then the gate we went through broke down from the weight of the zombies and they started running in

the ones with weapons started fighting off the zombies, while onjo's dad got something out of his backpack and threw it at the zombies

the majority of us ran for the exit, opening it and we stepped outside but onjo was glued to her father's side

he said something i couldn't hear, and then started blowing a whistle and started speed walking away from her, i went back inside and grabbed her hand, she kept screaming for her dad and i started tearing up

cheongsan came back to help me grab her as soju yelled for us to leave, me and cheongsan helped onjo out of the gate while her dsd got attacked by zombies

he kicked them away with suhyeok 's help, and he ran at the gate and locked it once we were all out

"why are you..." she started but saw the bite mark on his hand and stared at him sadly

"go!" he yelled "GO!" she didn't move from where she stood until he looked over and saw a group of zombies ready to run at us, he shouted once more and started getting bit hy the ones behind him,thats when she started walking backwards and ran with us

nayeon took ahold of my hand and ran with me, honestly, i wasn't sure if she did it to protect me, or just to be close to m

only the rest of today, and then we'll be safe...

maybe i should make the chapters longer 😭😭 the next one will be longer, i hope
