We are not defined by the people we are born to, the people we are born as. We are not defined by the circumstances under which we live, we are defined by our choices; the things we say, the actions we take. We are not defined by the people we love, or hate, or the people who love or hate us. We are people who deserve the right to speak freely, and express opinions without being oppressed, and as our opinions change, much as we are defined by them, we all have the capability to change. This does not mean forgetting who you were before, but using your past mistakes to help keep you from making future mistakes.
