"What-?" She murmured, sitting up to verify what she thought she had just heard. "Did he just…?" The girl’s head was spinning in a tired haze, trying to determine what had just happened.
After a few moments, the internal fog cleared and panic began to spread across her chest. Where was he going?
Slowly, she stood doing her best to ignore the pain in favor of trying to make sure her boyfriend wasn't about to do something stupid.
