Rosalina's POV:

With shaky hands I pick up my phone I scroll through the contacts finding Iona's contact before pressing the call button

*ring* *ring* *ring*

After a couple of rings the phone picks up.

"Hello" i hear Iona's voice "H-hello" i stutter "Rosa are you okay" she asked concerned by my shaky voice "I-I it's about sky" i say

"W-what do you mean it's about sky is everything okay what happened" she asked panicked
"S-she um" i say trying to spit it out "She what Rosa she what" she yelled panicking I can hear the crack In her voice

"S-she um we think she was kidnapped there was a trail of blood by her car s-she w-was supposed to get food a-and n-now s-she m-missing" I hear Iona start sobbing she calls Skylar and Skylar tried to calm her down

"K-keep us updated please rosa until we get there" skylar says
"I-I w-will" that's was the only things I said before hanging up and sobbing into the pillow

I already miss her so much..who could of done this and why why did they take her away from me I thought sobbing into the pillow

I feel something wet on my arm I look over to see Abi nudging my arms with sad eyes I look over and see Aspen sitting at the door with her head down

I guess they can Scents my sadness.

I look at them and sob Harder Abi jumps on the bed and lips my cheeks before sitting down and laying her head on my belly jumps Aspen gets up and lays next to me

I cuddle into them and cry myself to sleep feeling my heart clench praying and wishing sky is okay.

——Four months later——

I'm awoken by my phone Ringing i groan wanting to go back to sleep that's the only place where I'm not feeling depressed

"Hello" i answer the phone

"Hello is this Rosalina O'Conner" a women says on the other line

"Yes it is who's asking"

"This is the investigation department we have the blood tests results back" The women said making me sit straight up in the bed

"Okay" i say hesitantly. They told me that's the blood results were going to take a while to come back but I didn't think it was going to be today

"The blood came back it's Ms. evans blood" the women says sadly

"thank you" i say before hanging up

After that call I stayed in bed all day not bothering to get up to eat or take a shower

I let my thoughts consume me ignored the calls that I received I hated feeling pity.

Skys parents ended up come here along as some of her family they put out a missing person report for her about two months ago.

They are currently staying at a rental house next to mines they check up on me making sure that I eat and shower it's embarrassing to have someone check up on you just to make sure you eat and take a shower especially when you can do all of those things on your own but I know they want the best for me and the baby

They have already brought clothes and toys for the baby we were supposed to find out the gender five months ago but sky is still missing.

Casey and her daughter are currently taking over my business for Now until I can get back on my feet.

The police have been sent out to search for sky but as far as now no luck they searched all around New York and still haven't found her.

My dad called me and came over to comfort me my mother and father where supposed to go back to Scotland but ended up staying here

They are staying in a house that I once grew up in well that my father and mother raised me for a little while until my mother decided she wanted to go back to Scotland.

The thing that confused me is my mother hasn't visited me once since sky go kidnapped my father said that she had to go on a business trip.

Feeling my stomach rumble I look down at my belly and place my hand on my stomach

"I guess it's me and you" I say with a little smile only to feel a tear roll down my cheek

My belly has gotten A lot bigger in the last five months me and Sky were supposed to go to are first ultra sound but unfortunately She isn't here so I decided that I would wait until the baby is born to find out

I sigh before getting up and walking to the kitchen these past two days I haven't ate I honestly forgot I was pregnant sad yeah I know

But I have to eat to keep my baby healthy and alive as well as myself

Going into the kitchen I put some cereal into a bowl before putting some almond milk in it with some blueberries

I take small bites of the cereal not really feeling like eating

As I was eating I hear the door bell ring I sigh before slowly getting up and walking towards the door I open the door and see a box and it has a note on top I grab the note and read it

"𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒂 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒌𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔"

My heart drops No no She can't die I need her i didn't even get  to tell her how much I love her she can't die

I look inside the box to see a bunch of little snakes I scream before stepping on the box squishing the snakes before running back inside and closing the door

Not understanding what the note means I try and think what do they mean "𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆"

I sit in the floor for a little while until I finally come to realization
