Ch. 4 I'm home.. Alone... With Gamz

After we had both gotten in the car I turned to Gamz, "do you even remember where I live Gamzee..?" I asked.

He nodded, "YeP. i'Ve ReMeMbErEd SiNcE sEcOnD gRaDe, WhEn We CaRpOoLeD tOgEtHeR. " He gave me a smile as he drove off the campus, no teacher noticing us leave. I was surprised. I only looked at him. "aRe YoUr PaReNtS aRoUnD aNyMoRe? DiD tHeY fInAlLy StArT aCtInG lIkE pArEnTs?" He asked, his tone going cold.

I shook my head looking down and rubbing my arm, "I actually haven't seen them in over a month... Maybe two. Every week, however, There's money, check and cash... I'm only guessing it's something like child support. Aren't they great? They up and fucking left their only child..." I sighed, "I've been depositing the check in the bank and using the cash for groceries... I haven;t seen any traces of them, just the money on the kitchen counter every monday afternoon." My stomach churned again and my voice had cracked more times than I could count.

Gamz looked at me sadly, he put his hand on mine "I'm SoRrY SaM...?" He gave my hand a light squeeze, "If YoU eVeR nEeD sOmEoNe To Be ThErE wItH yOu..." He sighed lightly, "I'm HeRe FoR yOu." He gave me a smile as I looked up at him.

"Thank you Gamzee... You're always there for me." I murmured leaning closer in the seat, holding onto his arm that was holding my other hand.

His smile widened as i had gotten closer to him, "AnY tImE sAm.."

The rest of the ride went pretty boring and uneventful. It was mostly silence. Eventually Gamzee pulled into my drive way. My house was a little above average time, but wasn't much to look at. It had three bedrooms and two and a half bath... A full sized kitchen with a few extra rooms. Like I said a little above average but still not much to look at.

"CoMe On SaM..." Gamzee said to me, wriggling his arm from my grip. "Do I nEeD tO cArRy YoU?" He asked, getting out and going to the other side of the car, opening my door.

I blushed at him, and shook my head "n-no.." I told him, getting out of the car, stumbling. He caught me before I fell. I looked up to see his smirk. I blushed brighter and shook my head, "I'm fine..." I murmured standing up normal grabbing my bag. However, my feet didn't want to cooperate with me, andI tripped again.

He caught me again, pulling me against his chest. His smirk had widened. He picked me up bridal style. "AlL yOu MoThErFuCkIn HaD tO dO wAs AsK sAm.." he said carrying me to the door and inside.

 He set me down and watched me. "Thanks..." I said quietly.

"No PrObLeM mOtHeRfUcKeR... aS lOnG aS yOu CaN sTaNd," He said to me with a smile putting our stuff down.

I walked to the kitchen counter seeing the money like always. I looked at gamz picking up half of the cash, "Hey Gamzee Do you need any money..?" I asked him holding it out.

He walked up to me, and took it, and set uit back on the counter. I frowned. He only shook his head, "I cOuLd NeVeR tAkE mOnEy FrOm YoU..."

"Take it if you need it... I have plenty. I'm getting a job too... So. Seriously gamz if you need it..." I said looking at him.

He shook his head, "No.." I sighed, " YoU wAnT mE tO sTaY aWhIle?" He asked. I blushed lightly and my head screamed  YESSSSS
