Chapter 20

Leah's POV

We all went to bed, Tara and Chris are staying at a friends house while Teresa's with her other gals.

Just then I heard something dropped downstairs, "shit...." I mumbled.

I walked to Jace's room really fast cause I was really scared, I knocked

"Who is it?" I heard him ask
"Leah, please open the door" I said
"Who?" He ask again
"Leah" I said a little loud I'm actually crying right now.

He opened the door and I ran in.
"What happened?" He asked me
"I think there's someone in the house" I whispered "did you hear anything?" He asks I nod.

"Let's go get Cathy" he says taking my arm when we walked out and the door closes I quickly cling into his arms.

"Cathy I'm gonna walk in" I said
I opened the door and there she was playing with her phone, "Cathy" I said
"What?" She asks "someone's in the house" I said.

"Let's see who it is" Cathy says
"Oh I'm not going down there" I said
"Suit yourself" Cathy said
"Fine" I groaned.

We walked down and saw a lot of blood "Hell no" I said trying to walk upstairs but failed cause Jace caught me by putting one arm on my neck.

"Please let me go, you know how I will act" I whispered to him "Please stay" he whispered "I'm scared okay Jace" I said to him "it's Okay to be afraid" he says.

"Guys come here" Cathy whispered
"What" I walked and there was a man lying on the floor blood everywhere.

"We need to call the cops" I said
"yup" They both said in unison

*After the cops went to their house*

"Well I'm gonna go back to bed" Cathy said "Okay" I said

"Jace" I said "Yeah?" He asked
"Can you stay for a bit?" I asked "sure"
I sat on the couch and Jace was next to me with his arms around me and my head on his shoulder.

"I have a feeling that this man has something to do with my family" I whispered "Why?" He asks
"He had a picture of me on his right hand"
