It Never Ends

Ch 15

Back at the compound many hours later

Carol: "guys, a quinjet just landed"

Steve: "do you think it's Natasha and Yelena?"

Clint: "only one way to find out"

They all rush to the hanger

Tony: "Natasha, Yelena you both are back"

Natasha: "not just us"

Yelena helps Abby out of the quinjet

Wanda: "Abby!"

She runs over and hugs Abby

Wanda: "I missed you!"

Abby: "hey Wanda, I missed you too"

Steve: "how?"

Nat: "they faked her death...kind of"

Carol: "what do you mean kind of?"

Nat: "they did shoot her but it wasn't a fatal injury so she survived"

Clint: "it's good to see you again little widow"

Abby laughs

Abby: "I still hate that name"

They all laugh

tony: "let's get you to medbay, your leg doesn't look too well"

Abby nods and Yelena helps Abby out, Wanda following closes by

Nat: "bruce, I need a favor"

Bruce: "yes nat?"

They walk to the lab as they talk

Nat: "when Abby was in the red room, they implanted a chip in the back of her neck. They used that to control her after they found out that brainwash wasn't going to work anymore"

Bruce: "so you need me to remove it"

Natasha  nods

Nat: "I don't want anyone being able to hack into that chip and control her again"

Bruce: "when do you want to do this?"

Nat: "as soon as possible"

Bruce: "I'll start prepping"

Nat: "I'll get Abby"

She walks out

She finds Abby in her old room. Abby is leaning against the doorframe, her leg now in a cast

Nat: "Abby"

Abby looks around the room then at Natasha

Abby: "nothing changed, you left everything the same?"

Nat: "I couldn't touch anything in here, it hurt so much even passing by your room knowing you were no longer here"

Abby: "it feels weird... being back here after a year"

Nat: "I'm sorry that I couldn't find you, I tried everything, believe me, I did"

Abby: " I understand mom. What is it that you wanted to tell me?"

Nat: "Bruce is preparing for surgery so we can remove the chip on your neck"

Abby: "s-surgery"

her eyes widen

Nat: "I know it's scary, but please, with that thing in there someone can control you again if they hack in. I'll be there with you every step of the way, okay"

Abby nods and Natasha pulls Abby into a hug

Nat: "I'm going to do everything to keep you safe okay"

Abby nods

Friday: "ms Romanoff, dr Banner informed me that he is ready"

nat: "are you ready?"

Abby nods

Natasha helps Abby walk to medbay

Bruce: "lay down here, it won't take long I promise you"

Abby lays down on the bed

Abby: "how long?"

Bruce: "2 hours at the most"

Abby: "o-okay"

Natasha holds Abby's hands and lightly squeezes it

Nat: "it will be okay"

Abby nods

Hours later in Abby's bedroom

Nat: "how are you feeling"

Abby: "i-i.ugh. My head is killing me and so is my leg"

Nat: "I know, it will be fine soon"

She kisses Abby's forehead

Nat: "do you need anything?"

Abby: "no I'm fine"

Friday: "Ms. Romanoff, Mr stark needs you in the lab"

Nat: "thank you Friday. I'll be back soon if you need me, tell Friday. okay"

Abby: "okay"

Natasha walks out

Abby: "And I'm alone again"

Abby hears a knock at the door

Abby: "come in"

The door opens and in walks Wanda

Wanda: "Hey, am I bothering you"

Abby: "not at all"

She smiles

Wanda shuts the door and walks over to Abby 

Wanda hugs Abby and tears start running down her cheeks

Wanda: "I've missed you so much"

Abby: "Hey, hey don't cry. It's okay, I'm here now. There is nothing to worry about... I've missed you so much too Wanda"

They stay hugging for a bit

Abby: "I'm so happy I'm home again. I missed you, my aunt Lena, my aunt Carol, and my mom so much"

A couple of hours later

Wanda: "oh my god shut up"

She laughs

Abby: "okay okay I'm sorry"

They both laugh

Wanda: "I really missed you"

Abby: "so did I"

They both look into each other's eyes

They both start leaning in

Friday: "ms Romanoff, your mother is asking what would like dinner"

Abby: "umm okay. thank you, Friday"

Wanda clears her throat

Wanda: "I should get going, I have training"

She gets up and walks out

Abby: "дерьмо. ты должно быть издеваешься надо мной ( shit. You've gotta be kidding me)"
