"You know, before defrosting you from the ice, cap, I knew everything and now.... I feel like I know nothing" The man says as I sit in the conference room with Steve.

"You were in the ice as well?" I ask as I turn to him

"He was before we found him, and it was lucky that we did, the world as we know it might have changed for the worst if it wasn't for him" He says as he glances at Steve with a hint of pride in his eyes

As soon as I think I see it, it goes away and he reverts back to the frown that he has had on since I arrived here

Speaking of arriving here

"How exactly did I get here?" I ask and I see Steve shift uncomfortably in his seat as he glances at Nick

"Well it started a year ago..."

*Flashback* Fury's pov:

We had just found Steve and he was recovering well and adjusting, but all of us knew that there was something else, someone else, out there that had to be discovered.

While out on a mission to unearth the teseract, my troops came across an underground metal bunker. It contained lots of 1970s technology as well as two capsules.

When we opened them, we found that they were bother programmed to make the environment -30 degrees a temperature that would make the human brain shut down and ultimately preserve.

No one know why or how you ended up in one of them.

*End of flashback*

Steve looks over at me as he squeezes my hand

"A...and what was in the second capsule?" I ask, hoping that it could be Rebecca

"No one knows, it was smashed open and there was no signs of life in there anymore" Fury tells me as I nod, looking down

"I think that's enough for today" Steve suggests as we both stand up

"Take her to her room would you, cap?" Fury asks, but he shakes his head

"She's staying with me"
