Worst Nightmare

*** Zayn's P.O.V***

I walked out of the elevator Jade was on her desk doing some paperwork this is going to be awkward she noticed me and stood up little did she knew that this will be the last time she will be doing this "Good Morning Mr.Malik" I took a notice of her professional tone I nodded at her but when I looked at her face I couldn't believe what I saw she had a blue ring around her grey eyes and a red ugly bruise on her cheek that she tried to hide with makeup "what happened to your face ?" I tried to ask in the coldest voice I could master she looked down " nothing I fell down the stairs" she is lying I knew it but I shook it off and entered my office

I called Louis I know he knows what happened and I need to know

"What do you want Zayn it's early?"

"you should be at work but I will pretend that I didn't take notice that you're still sleeping come to my office straight when you arrive" I ended the call with a sigh as I looked out from the glass wall at London

I closed my eyes imagining my life if I had my own family a girl that her smile will light up the whole world that would make me forget all the problems or a boy who would take me as his own hero and I will teach him how to play football I smiled at the thought

someone opened the door I turned around Louis was standing there glaring at me " what do you want ?" he grumbled and sat down

I smirked at him "now my best friend can you tell me what the hell happened to her face?" I really wanted to know she doesn't look okay out there "who? What face? "Louis played dumb " Jade's face" I told him with a look that her knows that I have no time for his bul*shit " oh .. well some jackas* left after he slept with her she stayed at her house but she called Emily telling her to come her house she wanted to talk her ex boyfriend came and beat her up because she slept with you he told her that she is a whore so that's what happened " I gaped at him with wide eyes " what the hell he has no right to do that he is a fu*king drug dealer she can tell the police and he would be in jail for years " I shouted at him suddenly I felt angry, very angry I wanted to teach that bastard a lesson he can't forget "Zayn it's none of your business just leave the girl alone " I was going to answer him but there was a knock on the door and Jade opened the door with a tight forced smile

"Mr.Malik , Ms.Delfano is outside should I send her in ? " when she called me Mr.Malik it made me angry 'cause I know she isn't doing it in a playful manner "yeah and call Mr.styles tell him that I need him now and then come back to my office " she nodded and went out as she walked out Ashley came in she smiled while walking towards me "babe" she gave me a quick kiss I could see Louis glaring at us I know he us probably thinking that I used Jade but I was drunk "Hey" I greeted her I was in no mood for her clingy self there was a knock on the door Jade came in "Mr.Styles is coming " she told me with that cold face she has been keeping I cleared my throat .

"Okay ladies, take a seat please " I told them as I pointed to the small meeting table in my office Jade was fast to go there and take a seat I can't help but notice how her hips are swaying in effortless moves it's making her sexy I feel Ashley's hand around my arm I force a smile at her as Harry walks into the room

***Jade's P.O.V***

we sat on the small meeting table Zayn has I gave Louis a quick smile Zayn cleared his throat we looked at him he kept the cold face and I wasn't planning on acting that nothing happened he is an ass*hole he fuc*ing took my virginity he seduced me he kept giving me mixed signs all the time he made me feel like we're something and after all he is said this meant nothing every time I think about it and how I was so stupid to get attached and help him to get in my pants it piss me off

"Okay Ms.Greens " I looked up at him when he mentioned me " in your first day I told you that you'll be a trial for a little time " I nodded showing him that I remember what he said that day it felt like months ago "I don't think you're good for this job and that's why Harry's here I think you'll be better as a designer under Harry's hand if not I am afraid you have to leave us I'm giving you three minutes to make up your mind and tell me what you think "

I took a deep breath this is good for me but it hurts that he is replacing me right the day after I can believe I am having feelings for him the offer is good for me I took designing classes and that's what I've always wanted I nodded my head "I'm taking the designing job Mr.Malik" he gave me a tight fake smile "Okay Ms.Delfano will take your place tell her the last updates and the up coming events and clear the desk from your things for her" I nodded my head

with that Louis and Harry helped me to take my things to the other desk in the designing room once I got in there Emily and Niall were more than happy to welcome me and to be honest with myself it felt more comfortable there with people that I am sure they care about me like I care about them eve though we know each other not from a long time ago Harry is fun to be around he is a gentleman and he can be trusted having him as my boss I think it will be amazing , Niall is so cute like a snowflake and like a twin brother he is an idiot but will always be there for you and Emily is just like my sister even more my real sister didn't do what she has done for me I smiled as I sat on my new desk

"Okay Jade it's the four of us here do you have a new work plan if it's good we will work with it " Harry told me he speaks slowly but it's kind comfortable " actually I have something in my mind I don't know if you are working with it or not " He nodded Niall looked at me with his welcoming smile " shoot " he told me " why don't we divide the work in us like I can work on the teens part I've done a lot of it and I have a lot of ideas and I have something but this will be for the marketing part"

Harry smiled at me showing his dimples "impressive Jade " Emily nodded and winked at me and only me and her know why Niall raised his left arm to look at the time he gave us a satisfied smile "it's lunch time guys " he was out the door after that " you're not coming ladies ?" he tried charming us god Harry with his charming self I gave Emily a worried look " go and we will follow you there "

"what's wrong ?" Emily asked me with a worried look "Zayn will be there" realization hit her she was going to say something but I looked at her to see my worst nightmare standing behind her

"Jaden ?" I whispered Emily's eyes went wide and turned around to see him standing right behind her "GET OUT OF HERE NOW BEFORE I CALL THE SECURITY " he held her wrist and said "I am here to just talk don't come in my way kitten " he told her with threating eyes I know he won't hesitate to hurt her so I came in " it's okay Em. let him talk can you just leave us two for a minute " she nodded and got her wrist out of his hand she took her phone with her from her desk

Jaden came closer to me "Baby girl I miss you" he touched my cheek with his rough hands the moment he did that tears came to my eyes "please don't touch me ..please " I whimpered I wanted him to stop touching me but in the same time I can't move my hand to take his off " but baby girl just give me a seconds and everything will be okay I miss you in my life you kept me sane I miss your touch I miss your smile every morning I know that you're thinking why I did what I did, I did that because you were so good for me I didn't deserve you so I had to make you hate me to let you go I-"

I didn't let him finish I pushed his hand of my cheek suddenly I felt angry so angry that I started screaming at him and the tears came streaming down hard "don't you dare use that excuse they used it in every book I read you're a lair you were bored we lost our spark no you lost it you lost it like you lost your family like you lost your friends like you lost your town... Like you lost me Jaden"

Niall came running through the door "Jade are you okay?" I nodded panting from all the screaming after him came Harry he didn't hesitate to punch Jaden I wanted to warn Harry but after him Niall started hitting him then Liam came and held me I was crying mess everything happened so fast I noticed louis beating him up with the boys but Zayn was the hardest on him I never imagined him doing this for me without knowing what he did the girls were screaming I couldn't take it I blacked out in Liam's arms I didn't feel anything after that.
