I wake up with a aching arm, and somehow on the floor. I ignore that. I change, get my backpack, and run to the bus.

I see kyle, he waves,"Hey! What's up!", he smiles.

"Nothing much, I woke up on the floor though."

"Hah, also why were you crying?"

"I wasnt-you know what, its fine."

"Okay?"

We get to school and leave the bus.

Kyle runs over to clay, I just look around. Is that darryl? What if I try to be friends with him.

I walk up to him,"Boo,"

"WAH-oh my goodness, what do you want?"

I giggle,"Just wanted to say hi."

"Hello? There, I said hello."

"Aww man, I wanted to talk more, pleasee!"

"In your dreams.", he walks away."

"What-"

I wont give up, he cant do anything to make me give up!

Clay walks up to me,"Dude, give up. If george couldnt, then you definitely cant."

"What's that supposed to mean- I can!"

"Fine, I'd like to see you try."

My friend, conner drags my to the table. I look at darryl, maybe I can try again-

"Right zak?"

"Huh?"

"What are you doing bruh, are you looking at MY man."

"NO!? I have a girl."

"Okay, whatever. Should kyle ask the blue haired 'girl' out?"

"I dont know, you dont even know anything about them."

"Them? It's a girl, shes wearing a skirt."

"We dont know-"

"Yea yea. Pronouns are weird.", he starts talking about the blue haired person. I look at darryl, I think im going now. I pick up my tray.

"Where are you going?"

"Somewhere,", I walk over to the small circle table darryl is sitting at. He doesnt notice.

I glance back at my friends for a second, they look confused.

I sit next to him, he looks at me,"Wha- why are you here?"

"Wanted to hang out with you, you seemed alone."

"Uhm, thanks?", he raises his eyebrow.

"So, whatcha gonna do after school?"

"Uh-im just going to stay home."

"Well, wanna come with me to get some food?"

"Sure, I guess.", YES!!

"Well we can walk there, it's near my house. You can go to my house and knock."

"You sure? We can always go to the plac-"

"Of course! Your trustworthy!"

"I-I am??", he looks really shocked.

"Yea, you give me good vibes."

"Oh-thank you-", he smiles a bit.

"Hey, when did you smile?", I smirk.
