After I dropped off Naomi I called Trey to see wassup , he telling me some of our workers got hit up .

I really need to check on these streets tonight so I was going to have to leave Naomi in the crib tonight .. Damn

I'll make it up to shorty

And I still gotta deal with Drew and Alexus .

I called Naomi to let her know

"Wassam Baby ?" I said as I heard the phone pick up

"Nothing at the house chilling you ?"

"I got some shit to handle in the streets tonight baby so ima take you out tomorrow . I promise ima make it up to you"

It took her a while to respond

"Yupp" she said popping the P , she sounded let down for sure

"Cook dinner and check on lex & Jor please baby"

"Mhm I'll see you later" She said before hanging up

NAOMI POV

I was disappointed Jojo was taking me out but fuck it I guess he just had shit to handle .

Me , Alexus , & Jordan were all laying on the long leather white sofa in the living room .

Jordan was so amazed with Alexus' pregnant stomach .

"So if you don't mind , what happen with the father? " I only asked because she ran to her brothers rather than the father and I never seen her talking to any guys on the phone and stuff

"died , soon as we found out. he got shot a couple days after . weren't meant for him but you know wrong place wrong time"
Me and Jordan both looked shock .

That explained a lot

"damn sis , I know that's hard" I said as Jordan nodded

"So who's Lynn ? I keep hearing about her" I had to ask , I was so curious .

Jordan and Alexus faces both had a stank look when I said her name so I had to laugh

"Bitch is fucking grimey !" Jordan said before laughing

" Jojo was in love with her and seemed she was too at first . Then she started cheating , stealing money , started fucking with the enemy and then tried to set him up . She claimed to be pregnant but she was lieing and that broke his heart more . After that Jojo was kinda heartless for a LONG time so I'm surprised he let you in"

Damn , I could never be that one .

"I guess everybody messed with someone fucked up before" I said

Alexus and Jordan both agreed . Jordan was just like one of the females I swear lol .

We ordered out food , talked about love and watched the fault in our stars . By the end of it we didn't have anymore Kleenex to cry in .

JOJO POV

It was getting late out and there was still no word in the streets or on the block about who the fuck been messing with my money .

"Bro go home , I'll handle it" Trey said while we sat on the stairs in front of the projects

"Nah man I'm out here with you tonight" he nodded

"One day bro you gon realize that you was meant for something greater then the streets , you got brains . Like you basically run everything cause you smart and you know how to run a business" Trey said looking serious
