As we were at the front of the door Camilo was greeting everyone and Luisa is putting the donkeys in the pen. As we left Elias to talk to Camilo we both separated ways.

As I was finding Dolores I saw Eugene ( btw Eugene is y/n abusive ex ) then suddenly a

flashback

" no stop please it hurts," I said why Eugene pulling my hair while holding a wine bottle " stop whining like a bitch" he said while drinking the wine

He abused me every day I use makeup and long sleeves so no one will notice then one day " WHY CAN'T YOU BE USEFUL" he said then smashed a plate over my head

I was getting dizzy I ran out of the house and said we are breaking up. Then he was chasing me " you can't break up with me I'm the only one who cares for you your brother doesn't even love you they only say that because you do everything, Dolores only kept you because she was bored," he said

I was shocked about what he said I hid in the forest so he can't find me as I was laying in the tree I kept thinking about what he said maybe they don't like me maybe they were just using me as I overthink I started to get sleepy and slept at the forest

The next day I woke up in my bed " where am I?!" I said frightened " its ok y/n it's only me Liam," he said I was relieved I thought it was Eugene

" may I ask is this the reason why you keep insisting on using makeup and wearing long sleeves clothes, " he said I nodded

Then suddenly someone opened the door " WHO HURT YOU Y/N" he said furiously " calm down Elias your frightening her"

" OMG YOUR BOYFRIEND ABUSED YOU," he said, " what is this true y/n?" I nodded and started to cry

" Do you guys love me?" I said crying " of course we love you why did you ask?" Liam said " because Eugene said that you only pretend that you love me because I did everything"

" THAT BASTARD, y/n don't worry we are here and we love you very much," Elias said then began to hug me Liam joined in as well

End of flashback

I stepped back a couple of times almost tripped but Dolores caught me " there you are Dolores lets go somewhere else I don't like it here" I said hyperventilating while pulling Dolores

It seems that she saw me looking at Eugene we stop at the kitchen then I sat down Dolores put her arms on my shoulders and said " its ok y/n breath in breath out" I did what she told me so I calmed down

"let's go back to the party ill be beside you so don't worry" Dolores smiled " ok "

No one's pov
As y/n and Dolores was enjoying the party Eugene tried to walk to y/n but Elias stop him "I don't know why you're getting close to them but back off or ill break your nose again"

Eugene stepped back and Elias went back to enjoying the party everything stop when Abuela started talking

After that Antonio walked with Mirabel going up to the door Abuela said something then Antonio nodded as he held the candle for a slight second then reached for the doorknob

Suddenly a toucan went to Antonio and started talking to him the Antonio's said " yes I can understand you" everybody screamed with joy Dolores covered her ears

As everybody went inside Antonio's room the madrigals were having a family photo I notice Mirabel there beside me I said with a worried look " you ok?" " I'm fine I just need fresh air," she said while walking out

While having the fun suddenly Mirabel yelled " the casita is breaking there are cracks everywhere" " show me " Abuela said

As we went outside we saw now cracks and everybody went back inside except for me " hey I believe you if you need any help just ask me " "I was planning on searching tomorrow" Mirabel told me " sorry I am not available tomorrow how about next week?" " Sure I understand your situation"

" I need to go back to the party maybe they are finding me your mom is in the kitchen," I told her as I waved goodbye

As I walked in and started having fun again the party eventually stopped I waved goodbye to Dolores and went home
