The Lilly of The Valley by Evangheline Farcas

This poem is for all those who are broken, for all those who think there is nothing left to live for...for the lonely.  Remember there is not one step you take alone, Jesus holds your hand when all the world has turned its back... and He is not finished with you yet.. Remember..though the waters pass over you they will not drown you, He has a plan to prosper you, not destroy you.  So live on my friends and you will see that there is only one you, and you are a rare jewel, royalty in the house of God, for you are His child, you are called by His name.

I'm not perfect I am broken,

 I'm not perfect, I'm just rain-soaked clay,

But though I'm miss-shaped I am in the Potters hand..

...and what is broken He will mend...

...though the rain now pours the Son will come

And when He comes His light will heal this heart and...it will sprout..

In this rain-soaked ground will sprout lilies of the valley..

That are white and pure..

Magnificent...

Glorious... ...

Yet this Lilly of the Valley.. Will humbly bow its head,

To the One who made it pure...

For though it once was buried dead.. With the Son's bright rays.. now lives again.
