The sounds of faint beeping Filled my head, I Tried to open my eyes but didn't have the energy to. I Felt Cold. which was unusual For a Werewolf.. My eyes slowly opened To see Jacob who was pacing back and forth In this unfamiliar room "Where Am I?" I asked Causing Jacob to Look up with a surprised look on his face. "Jacob." I winced as he hugged me tightly

"Easy Jacob" I Heard a Voice Say Quietly. My head turned to where it came from To a little bit of my surprise. Sam and Emily sat on a little sofa. Emily was Asleep

"Where am I?" I asked again then pulled the thin White sheets over me I hate being cold..

"The Hospital" Sam and Jacob Said at the Same tI'me. Memories of Sam coming in the forest right before I blacked out filled my head. As if Sam was reading my mind he looked at me

"The red head Pretty much threw you half way across the forest. you hit a tree and broke some ribs which punctured your spleen. your Right hand also broke. You had surgery to get your spleen removed" Sam Explained Quietly To not to wake Emily up

"You know. your awfully Breakable For someone Like us" Jacob Said with a slight Smile. I rolled my eyes and A smile came on my Face which faded quickly

"You know You guys Didn't have to stay with me. I would of been Fine alone" I said tracing the scar on my arm

"We Wanted to stay. Besides we have to keep the Water for your IV cold so your Temp will Keep down Where Normal peoples would be" Jacob Said then the Doctor Entered the Room

"Ah. Ms.Dior Your Awake. Lets Take your Temperature It was Quite High when you came in. If its At least 98F You will be free to go. Its its any higher than 99F you will have to stay A little longer" The Doctor said shoving a Thermometer in my mouth. I looked over at Jacob with a 'please shoot me now' look on my face. A few seconds later the Thermometer Beeped the Doctor quickly pulled it out of my mouth and Smiled "98.2 perfect. Your Free to go" He said patting my head. 98? no wonder I'm Freezing. I quickly stood up and shot hI'm A glare

"I am not A dog"I Said half lying then tried to hold back laughter so I just Grinned. Judging by the look on Jacob's face he was trying not to Laugh also

"Why don't you Be A good girl and get home I'm sure your parents are worried about you" The Doctor said turning to me as he reached the door. My Smile quickly Faded

" I wouldn't even hold my breath on that one" I muttered as the Doctor walked out of the room

"Come on Raine I will take you home" Jacob said resting a hand on my shoulder, I nodded

"Hold on" I whispered then walked over to Sam and hugged hI'm Quickly "Thanks. For everything Sam. And Sorry For being So much Trouble" I said with a sheepish Grin then walked back to Jacob. I glanced back at Sam who's face was Shocked. I turned back as Jacob pulled me out of the room

"Come here" He said Picking me up and tossing me over his shoulder then wrapped his arm around securely around my waist so i couldn't Get off

"This looks like your kidnapping me" I Said trying to break out of his grasp

"It wouldn't If you stopped fighting"

"True. " I sighed quietly "That doctor. Was" I stopped to think of the right words "Something Else " I Said unsure what to call hI'm

"You Could of Chosen Better Choice of words then Your not A dog. Cause that is A lie" He chuckled shaking me slightly

"What would you Want me to Say? I'm Not a cat? Just A werewolf? and How did you guys get my Temp down to 98?" I asked as he set me in his Car

"Sure,sure. and Lots and lots of Ice" He said grinning then got in the Driver Seat. I Love his grin... He wrapped one of his arms around me and started to Drive. he was Oddly Quiet tonight

"Is everything okay? You've been pretty quiet" I Asked Resting my head on his Shoulder so I could look into his Eyes

"Yeah. I'm fine" He lied I shook my head and sighed

"I Know you better than that Jacob.. Tell me whats wrong"

"Bella Left to go Get her bloodsucker"

"Why Do you Care? not do be mean Or anything" I Asked moving my head from his shoulder to look out the window

"Because I'm In love with her" He said quietly then pulled into my driveway. I think I just heard my heart shatter into A billion pieces

"Oh. I can Tell she she likes you. by the way she acts"I Said with a Fake Smile "Thanks for Driving me home" I said quickly getting out holding the tears back

"By the way. The prom got moved To Today" He said as I went to shut the door

"Great" I muttered. Fuck my life "See you later then" I said slamming the door and walked towards the door letting the tears Finally come out. I quickly shut the door behind me and sat down with my head rested on the door "So that Kiss meant Nothing to HI'm. Nothing" I whispered as the tears fell faster. memories Filled my mind. HI'm and I laying on my bed as we both fell asleep "I love.. HI'm" I cried putting my face in my hands "No. I Loved hI'm.. I-i-i-i don't know if I do anymore.." I corrected myself as my Phone Rang. I picked it up in one swift motion not Bothering to look at the Caller ID

"Hello?" I said as my Voice Cracked

"Raine? You okay?"A familiar Voice said.. Embry..

"Just Perfect. Got attacked By A bloodsucker. had surgery. Just perfect. And how are you?" I sighed Laying down on the cold tile floor

"I'm okay. Hey, I gotta go I will pick you up at 5 for prom. It got moved tonight. If your Up to going"

"Yeah. See you Later then" I said standing up then looked at the clock. Its 10am.

"See ya" He said then hung up. I sighed and walked to my room and Set an Alarm for 2:35. I laid on my bed and thought about Jacob before drifting to sleep

　

I woke Up with a sigh When the Alarm clock went off After a long Dreamless sleep. I Slowly walked to the bathroom and Started the Shower and Took a nice long shower

I got out and Wrapped a light blue towel around me and Walked Into Alexa's bathroom and scattered some of her makeup on the counter and a blow Dryer and A curling Iron. I quickly blow dried my hair it didn't take long since it was pretty short. I Curled the ends of my hair and twisted into a Bun leaving a Strain loose on each side. I looked through Alexa's Makeup and sighed

I looked at the clock 4:39.. I quickly ran to my room and changed into my Silver dress And grabbed a pair of grey heels. I Carefully walked over To a mirror which sat in the corner of my room And made sure everything was Perfect. I had my hair in A bun, Blue eye shadow and soft pink lip gloss.

There Was a Knock at the Door, I bit my Lip And carefully walked to the door. It was time. For prom..
