Here’s a rhyme from me to you
To tell you of the things you do
My heart it beats, a quicker pace
You make a blush, surge on my face
Funny feelings churn inside
A painful yearn, I cannot hide
These eyes of love, through which I see
Can only picture, you and me
I cannot seem to eat a thing
You make me want to dance and sing
I cannot work or speak much sense
I’m full of joy and confidence
I have a dreamy way with words
And gaze through windows at the birds
I see the world, but do not touch
I like my world of love too much
In fact it’s really getting worse
I’ve even started writing verse
And with this rhyme from me to you
I’ve told you of the things you do
Dear Valentine, you have the cure
Just let me see you more, amour
