Amy's Point of View.

"See ya Becca" I said hugging my friend tightly.

Rebecca always gave the best hugs, she was just one of those girls who was just like a huge teddy bear, she was always open for a hug and never got annoyed if you hugged her more then once.

"I will see you tomorrow, Amy, have fun tonight." she said letting go of me and giving me a nudge towards the door. I looked at her excitedly and smiled. Tonight would be fun, It's the first time I've seen Steven in a month and it was the second time I've been to a proper soccer match.

"Thanks I will, Love ya Woman." I joked.

"Love ya Godfry Senior." she replied giggling at our silly characters we had made for each other.

We where a family, Bec and I, and although we had cheated on each other with the same person, along with our children who were also our best friends we had made the family larger and stronger. Kara being our eldest child, Penelope, Cassandra being our youngest Godfry Junior, and Abbie of course being our special middle child, Steve (which is also my real brothers name). Abbie never really hung out with us anymore but that didn't mean she was any less of a family member to us. Also in our friendship group was Erin, the youngest in our group but the tallest, I was the complete opposite I was the eldest but the shortest, It annoyed me always having to look up at the girls who seemed like they were meters taller then me at times. Erin never really got into the whole family thing but never the less I cherished her as our family pet, the goldfish. We where friends but more then that we were a family and we treated each other as such, one was never without the other and when we were together we were joined at the hip.

I waved goodbye to my friend and hurried up the stairs greeting other girls as I walked through the busy corridors until I came to the girl I wanted to see, Erin.

"Hey, Erin! I made this for you in class." I said pulling out a piece of paper from my pocket. Erin took the paper and her eyes softened.

"A fish, really, Amy,?" she said looking at the fish I had crafted in a boring health class. I smiled at her and shrugged.

"I was bored and thought I would make you something amazing." I explained.

"Thank you I will keep it forever" she said rolling her eyes and turning back to her locker, the corners of her mouth deceiving her and turning up into an unexpected smile.

"See ya Buddy." I shouted.

"Bye Amy."

I walked to the front of the school and met with the 2 girls I knew would be there.

"Hey Cas! Hey Kara!" I greeted walking down the steps to the girls.

I automatically got pulled into a hug by Kara as we laughed wildly. I pulled away from her and tried to lightly slap her stomach it was a stupid game we always played but we had fun whenever we did it. She blocked my attack and chased me trying to get me back. I screamed and hid behind Cassie grabbing her shoulders and holding her between Kara and myself.

"Amy, I am not your human shield." Cas laughed before I let go and ran through a mess of girls and parents.

You would think by the time I would turn 15 these childish games would end, but no, It was going stronger then ever.

"Truce!" I shouted running back behind my younger friend, cowering.

"Fine." she held out her hand and I went to grab it but before I could she slapped me in the stomach.

I doubled over she quickly grabbed my hand and shook it.

"Truce." She agreed laughing hysterically.

I hugged my friend again proud of her evilness, she was a quick learner.

"Well done you win my child." I said looking over her shoulder to Cas, who stood there looking at nothing, she looked completely away with it, probably day dreaming.

When Kara and I broke apart I walked over to my friend wrapping my arms around her, she gingerly hugged me back.

"You ok?" I whispered still hugging her.

"Yeah, just thinking " She whispered back. I pulled away and looked her dead in her eyes.

"I want to hear about it tomorrow, Ok?" She needed time and I saw it.

She nodded slowly and smiled at me obviously happy I had given her the space she needed.

"I will catch ya both tomorrow, yeah?" I said looking between my 2 friends.

"Yeah" Cassie said simply whilst Kara grabbed me and ran her hands quickly over my curly hair making it stand in many awkward directions.

"I hate you." I snarled trying to flatten my hair.

"I love you too Amy." Kara laughed.

"Bye Guys!" I said waving at them. If only I knew what I know now, I would have never left.

I found my brother's car and hopped in kissing him on the cheek.

"Hey, you ready?" He asked grinning at me.

"As I'll ever be " I said half jumping out of my seat.

.............................................................................................................................

We sang along to 'All of the lights' as we drove home fist pumping and throwing our own party in the car due to our amazing win from our soccer team.

Steven drove responsibly on the freeway and once we got off the roads seemed quiet and dark.

"That game was awesome." I said breaking away from the lyrics of the song.

"It was, It's the best professional game I've ever watched." He agreed coming up to a red light.

"Thank you for taking me Steve." I said, it occurring to me that we were close to home and I hadn't thanked him yet.

"It's alright Amy, I love you." He said sincerely the car moving forward because of the green light.

"I love you too Steven."

I looked away from him and out the window to my side, all I saw was a blinding light and then, nothing. I could hear my brother screaming my name over and over and a loud whistling sound in my ears but before long my brothers voice was completely overrun by the whistle which slowly faded into the impending nothingness.
