Ain't My Scene

The smile on my face is contradicted.
By this scene with everyone, throwing stuff,
in disgust.
Expecting me to throw my share, in the air,
just because.

I actually tried it once.
And they all laughed,
when I ran.
To pick it up.

Only in the free flowing scene,
will they ever ever notice me.

And there's no way,
there's no way.
Disoriented from the get-go.
But I never ran away,
I never ran away...

Shoulders shuddered,
in a familiar pattern.
To every expected "no".

And I forget,
What the point of it was.
Had to be perfect....
The smile lasted for a month.
