"Which type of flavour are you?" Lorenzo asks me as we enter the world's fancy ice cream place I have ever seen.

"Hmm, I like almost all of them." I say with a slight smile.

"You seem like a strawberry type of girl." Lorenzo says.

"I'm actually allergic." I stated, grabbing Lorenzo's attention. "Oh? Do you have an EpiPen or some shit?" He asks me.

I laugh a little nodding my head. "No, of course not. I'm actually really careful." I smile.

"Hmm right? Sure you are." Lorenzo scoffs.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I mean you're 18 and you careful? I find that hard to believe." He chuckles.

"Asshole." I roll my eyes.

"Hello, Mr. Romano. How may I help you." The work says finally now noticing us. "What would you like?" Lorenzo asks me as he moves himself to face me.

"Cookie dough." I smile. Lorenzo also smiles just a tad bit. "One cookie dough and one peanut butter. Please." He says. We both sat down and waited.

"Are you in college or university?" Lorenzo asks me.

Fuck.

He's going to think-

"no I'm not." I tell him straight forward.

"Oh? Taking a gap year." The only time I want him to shut the fuck up.

"No." The man slides out our ice cream over to us. "Thank you." I smile at him. I pick up the fancy spoon and grab a little lice cream, before bringing it up to my mouth.

"I assume you have no interest then." Lorenzo says.

You know what, sure.

Sure, let's go with that.

"Yeah." I say.

"So... I'm your last name." Lorenzo starts off.

"What about it?" I ask. "It's different. Dior." He says. "Yeah, it is." I let out a little giggle.

"Actually Dior was my mother's mom's last name. She changed it when she was 18 actually. My grandmother was a pretty famous film star in her times." I began to say.

"Although my mother hated that last name so when she married my father she was really quick to take his last name." I say.

"I hated my parent's last name. Even enough my grandmother begged my mother to have my last name as Dior. Since other than her there was no other Dior." I tell him.

"But mother didn't let that happen. When I turned 18 I had my last name legally changed to become a Dior. And as of right now I am the only Dior in my family to be alive." I tell Lorenzo.

"That's very interesting, Amora. Um but what about your grandmother's husband? Did he have a different last name?" Lorenzo asks me in complete interest.

"Actually my grandmother and grandfather had a love marriage. He was so in love with her that he even changed his last name to Dior. Unfortunately, he passed away a year after my mom was born." I mumbled out.

"Oh, I'm sorry for your loss." Lorenzo says. I awkwardly nodded my head.

"Enough about me." I say. "What about you. Your parents." I ask him.

"Their dead." He tells me straight on.

Oh-

I'm sorry but who the fuck just says that-
