You checked the mail like you always do to hopefully get a letter from your boyfriend Sodapop Curtis  who worked in the military you haven't seen him in what seemed like forever but there letting him go home for Thanksgiving you open the mail box to see a letter and a rectangle box you take both the letter and the box out the mail box and go back inside you sat down on the couch and opened the letter the letter says

Dear my beloved I can't wait to see you this weekend there not only letting me stay for Thanksgiving there let me take a week off to I can't wait to see you when I get home also I hope you like the gift that I got you it's not much but I hope you like it

Once you were done reading the note you put the note down and picked up the box and untied the red ribbon it was a black box (tell me if you get the reference :) ) inside was a beautiful silver necklace with your initials on it  You immediately put it on you told yourself that you would never take it off you started writing him a letter back

Dear Sodapop I can't wait to see you this weekend also I love the necklace so much I'll make sure to make a huge dinner for Thanksgiving and invite the gang over also Steve said he can't wait to see you either till then

it was a few hours before soda would be coming home you were preparing the the food and Steve and Two-bit we're in charge for setting the table Darry and Johhny we're in charge of putting up Thanksgiving decorations Dally and Poneyboy we're picking up Soda from the airport once the food was done and the table was set the decorations were up Piney came inside asking if Soda could come it yet you told him that Dally and him can bring Soda in now as soon as Soda walked into the door you ran over to him and gave him a big bear hug and a kiss and told him how much you missed him then you walked over to the table and told everyone to have a seat we all sat there eating talking laughing joking well mostly Two-bit joking like usual you got up and grabbed something from you and Soda's bedroom you walked back over to the table and handed everyone a box you bought a gift for everyone with a card

I'm so great full to have you in my life you are my one and only Love Y/N L/N the gift was a new pair of metal toe boots

Johnny's gift and card
I'm so glad I have you as a friend I love how your always there when I need someone to talk to
From Y/N L/N the gift you got him was a stuffed panda bear and a soft red blanket

Poneyboy's gift and card
I'm so lucky to have a friend who loves sneaking into movies with
From Y/N L/N the gift you got him was pens paper and pencils and of course a pencil sharpener

Two-bit's gift and card I love have a friend I can joke around with and watch cartoons with
From Y/N L/N the gift you got him was a Micky mouse shirt and 6 pack of beer

Steve's gift was 4 new nice shirts because you know he loses them often or gets the dirty and stained

Darry's gift was 2 30 pound waits because you know he's been needing to get waits

After giving everyone there gift they thanked you and left you cleaned up the mess after you and Soda went to your shared bedroom and laid there and cuddle you fell asleep in his arms

It was the best thanksgiving ever
