"You have everything you need?" Logan asked as she helped Theo pack a suitcase. "Or are you missing your dignity still?"

"More like my pride," he muttered. "Do you think she'll appreciate the gesture?"

"Appreciate it?" Logan laughed to herself and picked at a hangnail on her finger. "Women love these spontaneous things."

"Athena told me she was in tears all night."

"She misses her husband," she casually said. "If I were fighting with Nicholas, I wouldn't enjoy a vacation very much either."

"We aren't fighting," he denied. "Things are just complicated right now."

"I know you Wilder boys," she said, smirking. "You love way too hard to the point of suffocation, but you mean well. And that's why you're getting on a plane to see her."

"Yeah," was all he said before sealing his suitcase shut.

He pulled it off the bed and made his way downstairs where his children were playing with scattered toys.

"Daddy has to go now," he said as he picked Charlotte up and kissed her cheek. He grinned when Ky clung to his legs and bent down to kiss him, too. "You're the man of the house now, buddy. But don't grow up too fast on me now."

Ky nodded at his father and pulled away. "I will be good until you and Mommy come home."

"That's my boy."

"Cliff diving," Serena said, examining the distance from her post of the cliff to the moving water beneath them. "It really doesn't seem like such a good idea."

Athena was the first to jump and resurfaced after what felt like a long two minutes. "Come on, Rena!"

She glanced at Olivia then the water and shook her head. "I barely leave the house, so what makes you think I can do this?"

"Just jump!" Olivia screamed as she dived head first.

Both Athena and Olivia laughed when she resurfaced and expectantly watched Serena.

"You coming?" Olivia asked.

Serena held her breath and bit into her lip. Her chest suddenly stopped properly rising and falling as she took a step back from her post and ran into a hard body.

A chuckle filled her ears as two large hands gripped her shoulders from behind. "Nervous?"

"Maybe," she muttered, turning herself around. "You can let me go."

The man removed his hands and smiled at the woman. He immediately admired her soft hazel eyes with innocent gold flecks. "Hello, sweetheart."

Serena shuddered at the endearment and pressed her lips together. Only one man called her that and made her entire world spin. But now a stranger was using the term, and it just didn't feel right.

"You don't speak much," he commented, crossing his arms over his chest - his very broad and naked chest. "Can I get a name?"

"You'd have to buy me a drink first." Serena's eyes widened when she realized she what she had said and covered her mouth. "I didn't mean that."

"What a shame," he said, smirking. Jesus, those lips were possessed.

"We have to go," Olivia said, pulling a dazed Serena away from the man.

Serena hadn't even notice that she and Athena were no longer hundreds of feet below ground. "I don't know what happened back there. I couldn't even speak."

"It's called tongue tied," Athena said through a giggle. "He was hot."

"But he's not Theo," Serena pointed out. "Who's at home or on his way here. That man is not my husband."

Olivia glanced back at the man who hadn't stopped staring at her best friend and winked. "Let's get you drunk and find you both a room."

"Olivia!" Serena exclaimed, pointing to her stomach. "This baby has a father I really love."

"I know," she said, casually shrugging. "And I'll kill you if you ever cheat on him."

Serena laughed, despite her racing heart. "Then stop encouraging it."

Theo checked the time on his phone for the millionth time and then the door to see if it would open any time soon. He was certain he was in the right room because he could smell the sweet smell of his wife and the mess of the bed she probably occupied.

Of the three women, Serena didn't bother making her bed, and Theo didn't mind one bit. She was a mess, but she was his mess.

"He's nice, but she's married."

Theo heard the voices outside the door and wheeled his suitcase in front of him.

Olivia was the one to open the door and burst into a fit of laughter when she saw Theo standing beside Serena's bed. "If you're here for make up sex, you better find your own cabin."

"Where is she?" he asked, glancing behind both women to look for his wife.

"She's not with us," Athena answered, nervously fumbling with her fingers. "She's having drinks."

Theo blinked hard. "Drinks? You realize she's pregnant, right?"

"She knows she can't have alcohol, Theo," Olivia said, rolling her eyes. She felt less guilty about the situation than Athena did. "She met a man-"

"A man?"

"He knows she's married."

"It won't stop a man from wanting her," Theo said, suddenly angry at the women. He took a deep breath and shook his head. "Where is she right now?"

"Theo, calm down," Athena said, blocking his path to the door. "Serena came here to get away from you."

"And I came here to get her back." He placed both hands on her shoulders and gently pushed her aside. "Now tell me where my wife is."

"The bar," Athena whispered, earning a glare from Olivia. "I hate seeing them like this, Olive. They're too good together to be broken up."

"They're married," Olivia said with the roll of her eyes. "Serena wouldn't actually leave him. He just has to fight harder than barging in on our vacation."

Theo pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed in frustration. "That's why I'm here."

Olivia's features immediately softened. "Then you better hurry and get her before lover boy makes a move."
