Sorry for not updating in so long guys but with high school, shot gets pretty busy🤦 Anyways Long One Shot a warning😭❤️
In this AU there are 3 standardized breeds of feline. The Witches or those who are born with sharply tipped ears are named Afias or Afian after the Brazilian translation of sharply (afiado). And those born with rounded ears being named Turas or Turan after the Lithuanian term for round (turas). And the last breed is the hybrid or mixed breed of feline and they are named Amestes or Amestian after the Romanian term for mixed ( amestecat). Almost 98 percent of all population on the boiling isles is Afian. In this world Turas we're told to be a myth, nothing more then a kits tale. Well that all changed when it was found the Edalyn of the Clawthorne Pride was seen with a Turan. But they weren't just bumping into each other, after many clues were picked up it was found that the Turan and Eda were in a romantic relationship and were surprisingly, expecting a kit. No cat in the boiling isles thought it was possible for the two to have kits especially when the two were both discovered to be female. And still to this day that remains a secret, because shortly after word got out about the expecting of a hybrid there had been an order from Belos, the Afian ruler for the execution of the family. Soon the 2 went into hiding before the cub was even born and no one had heard or seen of them since and had quickly become forgotten. Forgotten to everyone except one cat, Odalia of the Blight Pride. Odalia was one of Belos's biggest allies. Being the 2nd richest and most powerful Pride in all the Boiling isles, Belos has assigned her the duty of one day hunting down the hybrid family. Meanwhile back to the Clawthornes. Eda met the Turan when she had first stumbled upon her portal and accidentally trapped herself in the boiling isles. She was a kind, and caring Turan named Camila of the Noceda Pride back in the Turan realm. Eda quickly took a liking to the kind she cat as they grew to become friends. Helping the lioness adjust to her newfound life in the boiling isles while also trying to find a way to figure out her new found attraction towards the brown she cat. Soon enough they were met with reciprocated feelings and after many moons together Camila finally found herself expecting. Eda could not have been more happy. A kit and mate to call her own was everything she could have dreamed of. And of course Belos had to go and make it hard on her and her mate. But that didn't stop the two from raising their kit. A brown and dark ginger she cat they decided to name Luz of the Clawthorne Pride. This young she cat made everyday an adventure for her parents. She was a spunky , wild, and very loving young kit. Yet there was still one thing that her parents knew they wouldn't be able to protect her from one day. Her first day at Hexside, the most prestigious training facility on the boiling isles, responsible for teaching young cats the ways of the Afians, their culture and most of all how to harness their magic. Bump was good friends with they Tribe leader of Hexside, Councilmen Bump. He and Eda had their share of history and before she disappeared from life on Bones Burrow he promised her that their kit would always have a place there. And now that time had come, for one of the most powerful cats on the boiling isles to join Hexside.
Afians (sharp ears) : are considered to be the most domesticated and proper breed on the boiling isles. The only problem is that with them being more domesticated they have lest protective defenses and their only form of self protection is their magical abilities. Yes they are a strong breed but they lack pure, natural and physical strength. The only way to achieve a high level of physical strength is to train your body. Which is hard for this breed considering their bodies are meant for more of an agile and quick approach rather then strong and bulky.
Turans (Round ears) : were originally told to be huge and ugly brutes that devoured anything in their way and had wicked features. Yet only the last part of this horrible, fake information was true. Turans are actually more of gentle giants and are very careful because they fear hurting others. They do have very different features from an Afian, though. They have more of a prehistoric look. But as told in the prehistoric times, Turans are not born with magical abilities. But they make up for the lack of magic with their strength and raw physical power. They have larger and more naturally, muscular bodies compared to an Afian. This form of strength actually makes them the superior breed but there is currently only one pure bred Turan in the boiling isles, Camila Noceda. Which makes it hard for them to be named superior when there are so many more Afians.
Amestians (hybrid): are the rarest breed of cat in existence and many believed they don't exist considering there is only one, Luz Clawthorne. She is the only cat alive the has 2 different breeds as parents and when 2 separate breeds have a kit they have an Amestian or hybrid cat. They are also the superior breed compared to Afians and Turans. This is because Luz was born with the best of both worlds. She was born with her mother Eda's raw magical talent and agility. But she was also born with a strong muscular body that could handle tough weather and gave her extreme endurance, this she can thank her mama, Camila for. This is also the reason Belos wanted her dead. She is the only cat alive that could match his level of power.
