The difference between weeds and flowers
Lies in how they grow,
While weeds greedily claw at the sky,
Flowers bloom nice and slow.
This difference between weeds and flowers,
Seems not to matter much,
But while one chokes beauty from the ground,
the other's petals we crave to touch.
Yes, the weed works more efficiently,
And the flower takes its sweet time,
But I always found the hours worth wasting,
If it meant a more beautiful rhyme.
