HEAVEN'S POV:

I thought someone will walk in just like any other time in all those fictions and stop this but it didn't happen. I was a blushing mess under his inked body, warmth of his presence melting me right away.

His thumb slid over my lower lip while I closed my eyes in nervousness. I stomach fluttered with butterflies, spreading up till my lungs, brain every possible part. Is he going to do what we left that day, my heart fluttered, questioning me. I couldn't resist this attraction, it didn't feel wrong for once, I felt safe in his arms unlike any other man's. He felt familiar, unlike any other person after Dad.

A sudden wave of air brushed my skin and I felt that warmth disappearing. I opened my eyes slightly and peeked through my lashes, flickering a little when I saw him parting away from me. I hid my face away, clasping my fingers together, breathing deeply to fulfill the loss of it in this meantime.

He kept his piercing dark eyes on me while placing his hands in his pockets, sliding behind the coat a little, revealing his toned muscular chest, dark traces of his ink, emphasising his already divine looks.

"Now you'll let me know if you need anything...Am I clear? " he ordered, demanding my reply of acceptance in his rich stern voice. His every movement, every word increased the weight of air around me, encouraging my blush to pop with brightest shade of pink.

I nodded, stealing a glance at his chiseled face, standing at a distance from me.

I waited a little and then decided to walk out. I didn't look but knew he was still staring at me. Why's he so intimidating? Of course Heaven, what am I even asking, he's a Mafia Boss and that's what he does. But when I say intimidating, I don't mean feeling uncomfortable, I mean feeling a certain type of way that's... desired. Sight of him can take anyone's breathe away, like it does with mine, when he's in front of those eyes, I don't think I can complain.

A small smile occupied my lips, feeling that moment once again, still fresh on my sensitive skin.

I headed towards Ariana's room slowly, wishing she's not in a bad mood because of all this that happened. I shouldn't have asked her to do this for me in first place, I know she would have done anything to take me there, and she did. I feel so guilty for some reason.

A soft knock on the door and the door opened without wasting even a moment. Ariana's head popped out through that little opening, checking who's there. Sight of me brought a grin on her face as she pulled me inside. I gasped, while she dragged me all the way to her bed, making me take a seat.

"Wasn't expecting Julian to let you go this early" her lips did that movement that occurs when she's planning on teasing me.

"W-What?" I whispered shyly, pretending to not understand anything while rubbing my arm, watching her sit next to me with an eye roll.

"Come on! You're acting all clueless once again. Does it look like I'm a five year old and can't see the steam." she huffed, crossing her arms. “You're so cute, I can't blame my brother for wanting more of this sight” she chuckled.

We both fell silent for a moment while I tried to find out a way to elaborate how immensely I was sorry for today.

"Ariana, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't.. "

"... Heaven! Calm down. I don't even remember half of the things he just said. Relax, you don't have to feel sorry for anything" she chuckled at my nervous red face while stroking my shoulder.

I felt much better after knowing she's not in bad mood. She's all herself, just like normal, that's a good thing. But if it was me, I would be mad at everyone. I slowly began swinging my legs sitting on the bed, settling in the silence while none of us spoke.
