Accented dreams with putrid hope,
Harsh clouds upon a celestial globe,
Punctuated wants and intriguing sorrow,

But we were just homeless in world filled with walls.

Proverbial caution, cast into the wind,
Red coated to support our chagrin,
And all that mattered was the fire
{that gave us the illusion of warmth}

But we knew
Knew of that tempestuous storm
The one that kept you
With me.

And all our dreams
With that hope
To keep from ripping away at the seams
