It is Sunday morning. I woke up early katulad ng sinabi ni Manang. Libo-libong salita ang makukuha ko sa kaniya kung hindi ko siya susundin.
"Hoy, Kuya! Maligo ka na nga, alas syete na oh."
He looked at me and smirked. "I'm still handsome man, baby sis. Mabango pa rin ako." ngumisi siya ulit.
I just glared him. Kakatapos lang namin mag breakfast at tumungo agad kami sa labas. We are in front of the house at may bench rito. We sat here and talked about some things.
"Monday na naman bukas, Lianna. We will going to school again. Sinong mag-aalaga kay Gumamela?" he asked.
I pouted. "Si Manang."
Anyway, kahapon nang dumating siya ay panay ang tanong niya sa aso so I told him everything happened.
"Ang daming works ni Manang, baby sis." he said.
"Eh, what am I going to do? I'll bring her with me in School?" I asked, agad na kumunot ang noo niya.
"Dogs aren't allowed in School."
"Saan ko pala siya dadalhin?" I asked.
"I don't know pero still, pwede pa rin pala kay Manang. All she need to do is feed and take a bath of the dog."
"Oo nga naman! Pag-iisipin mo pa ko kung saan ko pwedeng dalhin, tse!" Sinapak ko ang kaniyang balikat bago umalis. Tatawa-tawa naman ang kumag.
Tumungo ako ng kuwarto ko at naupo sa kama. Anyway, the unknown number who texted me. I didn't reply. Well, thanks for him or her but sorry, I'm not saying thank you in text messages. I don't know with me either.
I was shocked when Gumamela entered my room. She's biting a red rose kaya napakunot ang noo ko.
"Gumamela!" I came near to her and took the red rose she's biting.
"Saan ito galing?" I asked and looked at it. I also looked at the tip of it kung siya ba ang mismong kumuha noon pero hindi. It was a pure cut, gawa ng isang tao. Kung siya ang mismong kumuha noon ay halata namang puro 'yon kagat niya.
"Who gave you this, Mela?" I asked, as if she would answer me.
The puppy won't answer Lianna, duh!
I just sighed and take a look on the fresh red rose.
Where are you came from?
Nice, Ianna. Noong una, aso 'yung tinatanong mo then ngayon, yung rosas naman. What a stupid!
I sighed again and went to the kitchen. I took one jar and put a water on it atsaka inilagay ang rose doon. Tumatahol ang nakaabang na si Gumamela sa may tapat ng kuwarto ko.
Iiling-iling ko siyang tinitigan at papasok na sana nang tawagin ako ni Kuya.
"Baby sis!" he called so I turned my head.
"Hmm?" Humarap ako sa kaniya.
He looked down at my hands who's holding the jar with rose.
"Where is it came from?" He asked and looked at me.
Nagkibit balikat ako. "I don't know." I said kaya agaran na naman ang pagkunot ng kaniyang noo.
"Really?" he asked sarcastically.
"I mean..." I looked away. "Dala-dala 'to ni Gumamela." I just said.
I don't know what to say!
"O... kay?" nawiwirduhan siya sa aking tumingin bago tumungo sa kuwarto niya.
What? What's wrong?
Nagkibit balikat na lamang ako bago pumasok. Panay ang tahol ni Gumamela so, I turned my head to her.
"Are you hungry?" I asked before I knelt down.
She just barked twice so I sighed. I went to the kitchen with her and got the dog food for her. Inilagay ko iyon sa kaniyang pinagkakainan.
I left her in the kitchen while eating at tumungo sa kuwarto ni Kuya Lance.
I knocked three times and called his name. "Kuya Lance!"
He didn't open the door but I heard him say. "What? I'm going to take a bath!" he said.
"Nasaan na 'yung hiniram mong necklace ko?" I talked over the door. He isn't opening it, duh!
"I didn't borrow it, hiningi ko." he said.
"What?!" I almost shout at him, halos sirain ko ri ang pintuan ngunit binuksan niya na iyon. Nakasukbit ang kaniyang towel sa kaniyang balikat habang nakangisi sa akin.
"Kuya, hindi ko pa 'yon nasusuot." sumimangot ako.
"You have so many necklace, baby sis." he said and sigh. But, it's my favorite!
"Buy me like that again!" I said before leaving him.
Tumungo ako sa may dalampasigan sa sobrang inis. I went to the rocky parts and sat down.
I sighed. Nakakainis! He didn't tell me na hihingiin niya 'yon. He said, he will just borrow it!
Napalingon ako nang may ngumuyo sa aking gilid. It was Gumamela. I smiled at her and she sat beside me, too.
She looked at the sea so I smiled. Cute.
"You followed me, baby Gams?" I pat her head.
"The dog won't answer, Lianna." I looked up and I saw Aeon Jovan.
Why is he here?
"I know." I answer coldly. If he don't like me, why do he need to come and talk to me?
Iiling-iling siya at ngumisi bago maupo sa tabi ko, few inches away from me.
"Why?" I asked directly.
He looked at me with confusion on his face. "Why?" he asked if too, thinking it why am I asking him why.
"Why are you still talking to me like I didn't confessed to you?" I paused a bit. "Like you didn't rejected me." my brows almost meet each other.
He looked at me, matagal na matagal. I fight the urge to don't look away but I can't. His eyes were something guilty and I don't know why.
"How many times do you need to do this?" I looked at my feet.
"I know you're the one who gave the sandwich. I also know that you're looking for me from afar but I don't want to expect. When I expect, madadaig and reyalidad at masasaktan lang ako." I felt my eyes became watery.
"Do you wanna know why?" He asked.
"Why?"
"Because I'm always thinking that I'm the sun and you're the moon. We can't be together, love. You are like a star to me, it's so hard to reach you." he whispered.
