The Dark Woods

The sun kissed the gentle horizon and it became night. The tired explorers grew weary as the small, moon-lit shadow approached them. Then they saw her face. it was the face of an innocent, little girl. A tear fell from her eye plastering her hair to her face. The explorers new better than to trust anybody, but what harm could an innocent child do? Just as they let down their guard, an eerie fog rolled in. They tried to run but found they were stuck to the ground. The child looked up with a sinister look on her face and whispered but two words: "Dinner time."
