A cloud of dust blew up around them as the last bone shattering blow hit into the thief and he was sent backwards crashing hard into the ground, laying still and lifeless. Kolsvein stood on a stone platform overlooking the pit in which the men were fighting

“Well done Garnon” He said jumping down into the pit “It seems once again you have prove your worth to the dark brotherhood”

The man known as Garnon bowed slightly and smiled “You know I always shall brother”

He stepped away from Kolvsein and walked through one of the many tunnels around the pit in which he had been fighting. Kolvsein walked over to the body of the thief and crouched beside it.

“May Sithis take you into the void” and with that he left following the same tunnel as his brother. He pushed open the hatch and walked out into the wilderness surrounding Dawnstar, the light of the sun split through the trees illuminating parts of Kolsvein’s face showing the many scars he carried, an obvious hazard of the dark brotherhoods work. He walked out onto a stone path and was met by a man wearing a red and black jester’s outfit and singing. “Greetings Cicero” Kolvsein smiled joining in the jig with his old friend.

“Greetings listener, where have you been? How much did they pay?” Cicero replied excitedly expecting stories of murder and treachery.

“I have been watching Garnon, Cicero and how many times have I told you to call me Kolvsein?” Cicero looked slightly disappointed with this reply and stopped with his small dance.

“Cicero does not like Garnon never a smart man always killing the wrong people Cicero never understood him” He looked up at Kolsvein “Why does he help us now Listener?

“He’s my brother Cicero, you know he means good. Now let’s go I have important business to attend to.” Kolsvein said walking down the path with Cicero following behind him. They walked towards Dawnstar together talking of past killings until a seemingly mad man ran towards the two of them

“We must go now. Please, they are coming to get me please help. Please just...” Before the man had finished speaking Cicero had plunged a small dagger into the man’s chest impaling his heart killing him instantly

“Cicero! Why have you done this?” Kolsvein looked sternly at Cicero as he turned round his face spattered with the man’s blood; he used his hand to wipe the blood off of his face and then flicking it off of the end of his blade.

“He was going to hurt you listener, I could see it in his eyes” Cicero suddenly seemed so defensive of Kolsvein; this was strange as he had never acted in this way before. Kolsvein wondered why Cicero had acted as strangely as he searched the man. He seemed to be a normal Nord until Kolsvein removed a letter from his pocket

He is coming for me someone please help... Maybe this will be helpful to me later” Kolsvein slipped the letter into his pocket only to receive a shocked remark from Cicero

“Listener! Is that not stealing?” Cicero stood watching shocked at what he had just seen

“Is it really that bad stealing from a man you just killed Cicero?” Cicero stood there and pondered over that thought for a while but before he could give any reply Kolsvein had already walked away. Cicero ran after him until he caught up

“Listener where are we going?” Cicero was panting heavily as he tried to keep pace

“I have business to attend to now hurry” As Kolsvein neared the stables he saw a large Brown horse with a perfect white stripe down his face, he moved closer to inspect the saddle and cursed under his breathe

“Quickly we have to find someone” As he stormed through into the centre of Dawnstar he saw the man he was looking for.

“Grue you bastard! What are you doing here?” He stormed up to the man and turned him round revealing the many leather straps once covered by his cloak holding many small knives. Before he could speak Kolsvein had his hand round his throat “Answer me now or by Sithis I shall end your life where you stand”

“Hello to you too, old friend” Grue smirked as the last words rolled off of his tongue

“Never call me that! Why are you in Skyrim?” Kolsvein’s voice went into an icy tone as he glared into the eyes of Grue.

“You have no right to know my business but still, I’m looking for a Nord mad man” Grue kept away from Kolsvein’s glare he knew his red eyes would burn straight through his soul making him spill everything.

“The man who wrote these letters?” Kolsvein took out the letters and let Grue read them not once loosening the grip on his throat.

“So he did escape... crafty Nord” Grue tried to struggle away only to feel Kolsvein’s grip tighten “Release me now!”

“Not likely you’re coming with me” Kolsvein tightened his grip round Grue’s neck to the point where he started suffocating and passed out “Cicero take him back to the sanctuary, I shall be back shortly”
