"Y/n..."

There was a voice.

"Y/n... why..."

It was a familiar voice that echoed in the dark.

"Why didn't you answer my call...why?"

And then you jolted awake, your heartbeat fast and you felt sweaty, your chest constricted and you're breathing heavily.

Another dream again, you thought. It had always been the same sequence, the same voice calling out to you in that obscured darkness in the deepest corner of your subconscious. And even as you woke up, it would take a few seconds to minutes to get a grip on reality.

"Ah, what time is it?"

You rolled to your side and looked at the digital clock, the numbers displayed were 7 and 15. It's 7:15 in the morning and yet your room was still dimly lit, you had drawn the curtains last night before going to bed and the sunlight wasn't able to seep through the windows.

When you stood up, you headed to the windows, you can hear the busy street from below, the honks of cars in the early Tokyo morning. You pulled the curtains to the side and you squinted when brightness engulfed your room.
