If you asked, 'Who is Marinette Dupain-Cheng' there would be a dozen answers. Depends on who you asked. Other than being MDC, Nettie, Ladybug, and Petal, this prodigy child was also thought of as a bully.
Mari's POV
I was waiting for the e-mail from Gotham. I signed up a month ago, and today I would get the results. My laptop beeped. I stared at the email before smiling like a maniac. I got in! My class is going to Gotham! Crap, I'm late. I have to tell Mlle. Bustier too. Ugh. I gagged.

I thought of putting on the classic ladybug earrings but I changed my mind. Now I don't have to have earrings to transform, so they are hidden a small vault guarded with magic. Hah! Akumas don't stand a chance now.
At class
Ok, so I told Mlle. Bustier, and I feel like I'm forgetting something. I turned to my small group of friends who were watching Alix argue with Kagami. I rolled my eyes and Chloe saw me instantly. Everyone else followed her gaze and waited for me to talk. We went over our plans to take down Hawkmoth today and talked about our new powers.
I now can use Lucky Charm as many times as I want, and I have a new power called Fortune, which guarantees 10 minutes good luck for whoever. I can do simple spells from the Grimoire too!
Kagami can use each element 3 times and she unlocked Frost Fyre, a type of everlasting fire that feels. . . cold, and weakens people. Not dangerous, just kinda calming. It is everlasting until I say Miraculous Ladybug or she stops it. She eats more meat now though.
Chloe can use Venom up to 10 times and she has a power called Honey, which is like Mind Control. Her words sound convincing and are sugar-coated. She kind of bonds with bees sometimes and she smells like honey.
Nath only became Fire Fox last month so all he can do is use mirage up to 10 times.
Luka can use Second Chance as much as possible but he can also do a power called Slither, where he is impossible to be seen. He has a lot of patience, and eats more meat too.
Alix didn't get any new powers because Bunnix was pretty over powered. But she found out how to use her powers so that they could time travel every once in a while when things became crazy.
Juleka, Rose, Marc, and Max used to be in our group, but they all got transferred. While we were reciting the plan Lie-la came with a snarky look. As soon as she saw me she started fake crying though. Alya ran over and tryed to "soothe" her. She glared at me while Lie-la spun a tale of how I had called her a ugly b***h. Please. I don't cuss. But the stupid class believed her sob story and whispered to each other.
After school
I waved bye to Luka and Kagami and me, Chloe, and Nath walked home together. Soon everyone was gone but me. I hummed and made me way to the bakery. Oh no. I immediately turned around, but it was too late. Ivan grabbed me and pushed me into an alley. Soon Kim came up and started punching me everywhere. I didn't wince once though. It was painless in my opinion.
Soon everyone did some kind of damage to me except Adrien and Lie-la. Adrien came up looking at me in a weird way. "Princess" he murmured. I glared at him. A month ago I took away his miraculous as Ladybug because he would do nothing in the fights. Then when his Adrien persona confessed to me as Marinette I rejected him, because 1. I hate him, and 2. he always told me to take the high road.
He did one punch at me that barely touched me at all. Then it was Lie-la's turn. Alya whispered something to her and gave her a small blade. My eyes widened. I quickly focused my energy on healing both my wrists. Lie-la quickly cut me and they left me to bleed and die. The minute they were gone I got up and checked for injuries. None. I walked back home humming the same song.
My mom heard about what happened and said no school for a week. Eh. I knew all of the stuff anyway.
One week later
Chloe's POV
Lie-la was mocking us about Marinette but she didn't know Marinette was alive and thriving. Hawkmoth was gone, and now on the day we're leaving here we are in the airport an hour early cause Lie-la lied again. She was now saying that she helped take down Hawkmoth. In fact she did most of the work apparently.
But then Marinette walked in. Lie-la and her sheep froze in fear. She ignored them and sat next to me.
At Gotham
I know she doesn't act like it but Marebear has changed. She used to be so nice and happy. Now she barely shows emotion.
We were all at our rooms and me, Alix, Kagami, and Mari were talking. Luka was whining about sharing with Nino, Kim, and Ivan. He's 10 times stronger than them though. Marinette said she wanted to walk. It was midnight in f***in Gotham! But she insisted and eventually we let her.
Damian's POV
Father said there was no crime tonight so I was just walking around when I heard footsteps that sounded like they were running. I turned around and saw a girl getting cornered by a thug. Before I could step in though, she punched his nose and ran for it. Before she did though, I saw her eyes. Light sapphire blue eyes. Like a pure pond filled with little lavender hints.
When I walked back home I silently thought to myself, would I see those eyes again?
