Chapter 1-The Beginning

It all started when I was thirteen years old I loved singing and playing the guitar I wanted to get noticed but I got bullied alot.. and I was kind of embarresed to letting people know who I was. At school I was this boring quiet girl I was only loud around my friends and family.

(13 years old

''It's a damn cold night     

Trying to figure out this life

Won't you take me by the hand?

Take me somewhere new

I don't know who you are

But I... I'm with you'' I finish off the song and glance over to my best friend who had her mouth hung open.

''Was It okay?'' I ask nervously and grab  the camera which was sitting on a tripod 

''You are amazing!'' Her eyes widend and she got of the bed and stood next to me leaning down to watch my video.

I blushed as I heard myself singing and then I went to press delete but Summer slapped my hand away.

''We have to post It on that site....youtube!'' She jumped up and down I stood still and stared at her with my eyes wide

''No way.'' I chuckled nervously Summer gave me that begging look 

''Oh C'mon I mean It will be fun!'' She smiled and put her arm through mine

''No people at school will laugh.'' I feel my cheeks going warm at the thought of It

''Its not like you can wear a disguise or something?'' Summer said In a jokey voice

I grinned at her 

''Thats what I need!'' I smile and Summer gives me a questioning look I tell her my Idea 

''Thats a good plan'' Summer agrees 

''You need a new name then for your account?'' She says whilst going over to my laptop.

I think hard and sit on the bed and get a packet of bubblegum out

''Bubblegum?'' I say...''No...'' I put some gum Into my mouth

''Woah Its strong and minty!'' I stick my tounge out and then a smile appears on my face.

''Minty!'' I say and jump off the bed and go over to Summer I watch as she types the words Minty Into Username box 

''Its not taken.'' She smiles we  soon create a account.

''Ok now your disguise lets go town?'' Summer says and I agree

We tell our Mums and then get the bus to town, 

''I'm not allowed to dye my hair untill I'm sixteen..so I need a wig.'' We go to the fancy dress shop and see Wigs on a shelf

We go past the clothes and over by the shelf and see different styles

The wigs looked very unreal but then there was more expensive ones a £40 wig!! and It was a beautiful lime green colour and It was real hair and looked very real we both stared at It together.

''I have to save my money up untill next week.'' I sighed as I looked at the unrealistic ones

Summer got her purse out and took out £20 and She put It in my hand.

I shook my head and handed It back ''I can't take your pocket money!'' I blush

She smiles 

''I have more  don't  worry pay me back.'' She hands It back and I hug her tightly

''Thank you'' I smile widley 

I tie my hair Into a high bun ontop of my head I put the try on wig caps on and then placed my green wig on It fitted perfectly and It wasn't itchy like my halloween costume wig.

I looked In the mirror and raised my eyebrows It didn't look like me already I sighed happily.

''You look wow!'' Summer smiled back at me 

''This is the one!'' I chuckled 

''We will have to cut It or something Its really long.'' Summer said whilst taking a strand of the wig hair.

I nodded ''Yeah I'll use my Mums sewing scissors.'' I smile

and we go up to the checkout and pay for It 

''Ok clothes now!'' Summer smiled and I looked at her.

''We don't have any money-'' I got cut of by her

''Well I do and don't worry you don't have to pay me back aslong as I get to wear the clothes too.'' She giggles and drags me to the nearest shops

We spend a longtime looking at all the amazing clothes and end up buying dungarie shorts and a pretty tee-shirt 

We head home on the bus and as soon as we get to mine we began makeup and hair.

Summer curled my wig with my curling wand and I applied my make up like I was a celebrity purple eyeshadow with glitter around my eyes mascara eyeliner and lipgloss. It didn't look too much on me so I looked okay I put my wig on when It was done and then the clothes.

Summer gasped at me and I looked In the mirror.

''Oh my coco pops.'' I gasp
