A little child stands tall

With an ultimate mission

Fighting against all odds

Fulfilling his only heartfelt vision

In his eyes, I see hope

In his smile, I see pain

In his words, I see concern

In his actions, I see change

You imprisoned his father

And cut off his hands

You killed his brothers

With your guns, bombs, weapons & tanks

Your soldiers raped his sisters

And destroyed their homes

Now this little kid is dying

Yet living all alone

He stands immense with courage

In-front of your tank

With nothing else but a little stone

Placed in his hand

But you see him as a threat

And you order his demise

Remember you can kill a person

But, revolutions never die

Your soldier steps out the tank

And slips on his gloves

He loads the pistol with bullets

The child looks to the sky above

Clutching the trigger with his finger

While the gun is in his hand

He tightens his grip, inhales deep

And then the trigger goes BANG!!

Now

Tell me who is right?

And

Tell me who is wrong?

Please

Tell me who is weak?

And

Tell me who is strong?

Can you

Tell me who will win?

And

Tell me who will fail?

Will you

Tell me who will perish?

And

Tell me who will prevail?

The soldier starts to walk back

With a smile on his face

But deep down he pictures his own child

In the other child's place

The victim lies in his own blood

While tears stain his cheek

Now a statistic of oppression

Where superior test the weak

The soldier now suffers depression

And countless mental disorders

There's a fire burning inside him

Yet the world keeps getting colder

He has a gun placed to his head

Hopefully, this will set him free

How do I know? Well I forgot to mention

The soldier was ME.
