You and Quinn have been dating since the beginning of sophomore year (you're now near the end of junior) so you have been dating for just over a year. She hasn't told anyone that you are dating her as her excuse was she wanted to keep it between 'just us' but you hated hiding from everyone. You don't want to make a big deal about it but you don't want to hide anymore. Also no one knows your sue slyvesters daughter, Quinn knows that your a teachers daughter but she doesn't know it's sue. you're nothing like her but you are also a lot like her in other attributes. You are on the cheer team and glee club, your mom wanted you to get her intel on the club but you refused and made sue tell the other three it won't be needed anymore. Quinn wants to tell people but she doesn't know how she thinks just let it roll it subtly so it will be easier. Right now you are in the choir room by yourself waiting for everyone then your mom walks in

U- hey mom whats up
Sue- why didn't you tell me
U- tell you what mom?
Sue- that you're dating Quinn

Sue- well I'm guessing you didn't tell her I'm your mom cause she came to me to tell me that you are dating and she wanted to know if I'm ok with it cause you're another member of the team
U- so are you ok with it
The glee club stands outside listening to the convocation
Sue- of course I am honey, you're my daughter I will always accept you and I couldn't be happier that you found someone that makes you happy but what I'm upset about is that you didn't tell me you were dating someone and I had to find out from your girlfriend without her knowing that I'm your mom... why didn't you tell me?
U- I didn't know how you would react to me dating a fellow cheerio and I accepted her wishes of keeping it to ourselves cause she wasn't ready to come out, I would of told you, you're my mom I want to tell you these things of course I do you've been there for me through everything
Sue- so how long
U- almost 2 years now we started dating at the beginning of sophomore year

Sue- I thought you would of gone for Santana

Sue- what I'm just making sure two of my star cheerleaders aren't late for practice
U- why are we even talking about this she told you we were together and i told you that we were happy you don't need to go into what i do when I'm not in cheer practice or glee
