chapter 2 | a date?

"GRANNY?!" you haven't seen her since your uncle passed and she's like your bestfriend so your super happy to see her.
"oh hello darling, come here!" she greets me with open arms and hugs me tight.
"what are u making gran?"
"i'm making your favourite" she says says with a smile, she has the exact same smile as your uncle which makes u tear up a bit
"chicken noodles?"
"of course, you still like that right?"
"yes gran i do it's still my fav" u say with a big grin on ur face
you pull the chair out to sit at the island with is smack bang in the middle of the kitchen but it's your favourite place to sit so u always sit there.
"gran, i've met boy..." u say looking down at your phone
"OH REALLY?! what's his name? what does he look like tell me everything!!" she says doing a little dance
"well his names Bailey and i only met him today but he's very gorgeous, he has brown hair, taller than me AND he plays football, gran i can be a football wife oh my god"
"go for it charl, but make sure he is the one before u do anything...you know what i mean" she says laughing to herself
"yes i do haha and yes i will and yes u will be the first person to know anything don't worry" u say still looking at your phone.
"okay well i'm gunna go get a shower, call me when foods done" you say kissing her on the head
"will do honey love you"

You run upstairs, pick your pyjamas out and get in the shower. All you can think about is Bailey, i mean no complaints but i only met him today and who knows he might have a girlfriend..."
your near enough finished in the shower when your phone pings, you get out, wrap yourself in a towel and check your phone, it reads:
Baileyy.w_ : "hey charley, i hope your okay after what happened today x"
Charley.x : "yeah i'm okay, how are you doing?"
You squeal in excitement, knowing he cares about you, BEST FEELING EVER! and a 'x' cant get much better. You go into your room and get dressed into your pyjamas and walk downstairs.
"FOODS DONE" shouts your granny
"coming gran"
u nearly trip down the stairs as your too busy looking at dresses on your phone. You look up to see your granny nearly bust out laughing but you beat her to it and u just sit there and laugh together. You both sit down and eat your food and your trying to find
a film to watch,
"the conjuring?"
"too scary"
"the meg"
"seen it"
"after?"
"too romantic"
"wonder?"
"too sad"
You sigh, you knew she'd be a pain in the ass to try and watch a film with. You give the remote to her and tell her to find something to watch, your phone pings, it's Ronnie.
R - Girl why u not at the park with everyone?
C - why don't u ask tommy why i'm not there and i'm sure he'd love to tell u that he tried to sexually assaulted me!
R - NO WAY?! i'm gunna kill him.
C - Ron please don't do anything i beg, it'll cause more drama plus, i met someone and he knocked Tommy out when he tries SA me
R - can i come to urs and u can tell me all about it
C - yeah come by, see you in a bit

it's been about 10 minutes since Ronnie said she was coming over and you hear a knock at the door, you run to the door and it's Bailey.
"i- uh- Bailey, i- nice to see you-"
"can i come in? no ones at my house and it's kinda boring" he says smiling
"yeah sure, i mean i am in my pyjamas" u say looking down at yourself
"it's okay don't worry" he looks at u smiling
Your granny walks in.
"oh hi, char this must be Bailey, oh how nice to meet you, Char was just talking to me about you-"
You give ur granny the wide eyes.
"oh has she now? all things good i'm guessing...."
"oh yes all good things, well Char i'm going shopping alright i'll see u later" she says giving a big smile
"yeah okay i'll see u later bye love you"
she walks out and starts the car
"So bailey where do u wanna go? my room? living room?"
"i don't mind, ur room?" he says shrugging his shoulders
"yeah okay follow me, oh also my bestfriend is coming over aswell so be prepared she can be a bit of a handful haha"
"i'll prepare myself-"
it's been around 35 minutes you've been chatting away together when u hear a knock at the door.
You run downstairs and open the door and it's Ronnie. You both squeal and hug eachother and she walks in.
"okay Ron don't freak out but Baileys upstairs..."
"YOU MEAN THE ONE U MET TODAY?!"
"ronnie shut up ur so loud he might hear, but yes, please don't go on a mad one asking him loads of question, be chill pls"
"okay i will bet, i wanna meet him-"

B - guys i've met a girl and i'm at her house
M - GOWON man, are u gunna?
B - no we're not, i only met her today bro

B - yes it does, she's really pretty
M - get to know her more, take her out on a couple dates then ask her out
B - yeah i was thinking that tbf, alr well i'm gunna go cus her and her bsf are coming back bye lads
