Ch. 2

                                           Devin POV 

"Devin why don't you go with JJ," Detective William said 

I shook my head, 

I took the picture off the counter, shoving it back in my backpack, 

"If your not going to help me find her I'm going to look for her myself," I said 

"Hold on a minute," Detective William said grabbing my wrist, 

"I didn't say we weren't going to help you look for her," He said in his accent, 

"Your acting just like the rest of the cops, just because she goes out doesn't mean she's not a human being," I said starting to get hysterical

"I didn't say that I'm just saying it's to dangerous for you to be out there looking for her at this hour," He said 

"But she needs me, I need to find her," I said feeling the tears welling up in my eyes, 

"I know," He said kneeling in front of me, 

"Go with my good friend JJ, and I'll make some calls and talk to her friends alright," He said 

I nodded, 

I took JJ's hand and walked out of the room, 

                                          William POV 

I walked into the conference room, JJ's team was watching the exchange, 

"What's the kid's story?" Derek asked, 

I sighed, 

"Devin Lokoski, She pretty much takes care of herself, and her mother, a few years ago I found her wondering the streets, thought she was homeless, until she told me she was looking for her mother," I said 

"Her mom? drugs?" Hotch asked 

I shook my head no, 

"No, just goes out every night, leaves Devin on her own, party animal, we tried to get Devin in a better home situation but the courts wouldn't allow separating her from her mother, as long as Devin is fed, healthy and not abused that's all that matters," I said 

"Her mothers name?" Rossi asked 

"Cami, Cami Lokoski," I said 

"Father in the picture?" Emily asked, 

"Not as far as I can tell it's only been Cami and Devin," I said 

They bring a picture of Cami up on the screen, 

"Seems like the unsubs type," Reid said 

"Which is why we need to find her before it's too late," Rossi said 

"We need to know exactly what Cami did before she left last night," Hotch said 

"The only person who would know that is Devin," I said in a worried tone, 

"Derek I want you to talk to her, Emily take JJ with you I want you two to go to Cami's home," Hotch said 

"I'll take you two there, I've been there a few times," I said Emily nodded, 

                                                  Devin POV 

"Here are some peanut butter crackers if you are hungry," She said smiling at me, 

"I can't, I'm allergic to nuts," I said 

"Oh, sorry I didn't," She said a bit embarrassed

"It's okay," I said finally settling down from my episode, 

"Would you like something to drink?" She asked 

I nodded, 

"Alright I'll be right back," She said smiling at me, 

I sat at Detective Williams desk, in his office, 

I had my arms folded as I rested my chin on top of them, 

"Okay I got you some orange drink," She said walking in, 

"Thank you," I said taking it from her, 

She nodded, 

She sat next to me, 

"We'll find her," She said placing her hand on top of mine, 

"I know the percentage is low on finding her alive if it is the serial killer," I whispered, 

She looked at me shocked, 

Then there was a Knock, 

"JJ, Emily wants you," The man said 

She nodded, 

"Devin this is Derek," JJ said 

I nodded, 

JJ left and Derek sat in the chair next to me, 

"Devin, I know this is hard, but I need you to tell me everything you remember about your mom before she left last night okay," He said 

I nodded, 

"Now tell me the last thing you remember," He said gently
