A House Painted By Tears

In a house upon a hill,
looking once it's pretty still.
And in that house upon a hill,
there are children there a little ill.

The children all seem fine, and all act good.

But they're misunderstood.
You might need to take another look.
See, these children are only allowing you to see what they want you to see.

But they long to be free.

In a house upon a hill,
it's hot as hell, but there's still a chill.
And in that house upon a hill,
there are lies and secrets the children try and conceal.

And maybe they'd tell if the house had been built with stronger wood.

Oh, if only they're had been someone who would have understood.
Someone should have took another look.
See, these children were only making you see, what you wanted to see.

But they only ever escaped through their dreams.
