Hurt
Love..... It warms the heart, and when you don't get it back, it breaks it. Love blinds from what is inevitable. They say they love you, but there is no way to be sure. You want their love, and hope it's there. But if it's not? What then? They pain that strikes your heart is unmerciful, strikes like a knife. Pushing through and staying there. There is no preventing it. No taking it out. Any type of "painkiller" is easily brushed aside. The love... the warmth. All replaced by hurt......
It's not a happy time for me right now. This was inspired by a recent break up. Have to let it out somehow....
